crimson - Anybody have experience with SSD? When I built my rig 2 years ago, I wanted one but they were just too new & expensive. Now I'm thinking may be a good time. I've been looking at OCZ Vertex 3 120 & Intel 510 120Gb. Anybody have any experience with SSD drives? I'm hearing the OCZ is fast as hell but reliability is questionable. Intel is solid but a touch slower. Been using a pair of OCZ Vertex SSD's in a raid 0 as my boot volume for about 2 years now, no complaints, love the 9second boot times on my MacPro running OSX Server.

Alton Brown - NO SERVERS SHOWINF UP WHEN I DO A REFRESH Hi all, i quickly looked at the forums to see if i could figure this out and also the net....I just upgraded my gtx card to a 570 then did a full windows vista format to my pc....I installed all of my other games and they are running perfect....For some crazy reason cod4 will not find any servers at all and also now im getting an error message saying that there is a hardware change everytime i start cod4....Like i said, i did a complete, not a quick, reformat of vista ultimate that i ran for the past 4 with this game.. Can anyone help me!...... Thanks!... AHHH i cant play!... The 'Other' Alton uses a Mac.

LtLaszlo Have you tried just using your desktop speakers? I don't like wearing headsets, so I use the speakers and just set the mic around my neck for chatting. It's a problem if there are others in the room, but I like to be able to hear other things going on, like kids, the door, phone, smoke alarms (LOL), etc. Just a thought. I like this but the issues I have when using are early AM or Late in the evening it can bother other folks trying to sleep and on mine at least the game sounds go over te voice chat as well.

Just a thought, don't just look at headsets. A pair of headphones and a mic will greatly expand your possibilities.

Bog map, just had a massive 'CI'? Lasted about 20 seconds everyone was a 999, then back to normal.

Equestrian Map, lag after the 31st player gets on, severe lag (400+ Pings for me) after #33 or 34 gets on.

And the mp_hw2_returns map still has a glitch when you get frozen in the 'teleport building' it drops you into a no man's land where you can't get defrosted. That map should be removed from rotation iMHO. Map Havoc - File/Sum Name mismatch at the change of rounds.
