First one to die in the blast was 8yr old Martin Richard ( Rest his soul ), and with that being said, he probably saved his sisters life by taking the full blast of the bomb with his body as he was standing right next to the trashcans that was holding it. After switch to NY server I never had so many Ci's before, and sometimes everyone in the server feel the ci's or the lag spikes.

Your download speed is dependent on numerous factors. * Your ISP. * Your network hardware. * Your software environment (other applications using network bandwidth). * Overall connection speed to nearest CDN node (ping) . Since these factors are unique for every user it is near impossible to diagnose "why" you are getting slower than average download speeds unless you want to start getting into packet captures and things like that which are beyond the scope of this forum. Since you mentioned you get better rates through other programs (Firefox etc.), if I had to guess I would say the problem lies between your ISPs network and the nearest Akamai server. Akamai technologies are used for Origin's content delivery system. I can tell you that Origin will use any available network bandwidth while you are downloading a game. So my advice would be to shut down any other programs that may be using up bandwidth (Skype, file sharing) and try running your downloads when you aren't going to actively using your PC. Origin isnt capped far as I know, so the speed depends on your download speed I guess. Too bad it wasn't Bad Company 2, I have an unused Limited Edition of BFBC2 on disc that I could have sent.

I have about the same, even thou the server is in NY and Im in Sweden. There is only like 2 real things u can do, move closer to server, or get faster internet which the later isnt a real solution but it helps in some cases. Ping of 140-200 isnt that bad, but beyond that, others might see u as choppy and all over the place.

Happens to me 2, and still does, now and then. My issue is something with resolution I think. When it happens, I ctrl+alt+del to get the task manager, and game on auto basis switches back to game, where it starts loading but with a smaller resolution then 1680x1050. My solution to my problem is to log off then login again. On Topic: Use XI downloader to get the maps and avoid the in-game downloading.

I saw there were old post in the forum about PlanetSide 2, I just found it myself and find it pretty good to be a free-to-play game on this massive scale. I don't know everything but its a FPS MMO (massive multiplayer online), I know you can have a Platoon with 4 sub squads with 10-12 players in each squad, there is VOIP. There is a good variety of guns, tanks, aircraft's, vehicles, gun/tank/air attachments. My first impression was its like World of warcraft but FPS instead and Capture the flag. Did I mention it was free? Its free to play but there is also a pay option for those that wanna level up fast, but even, if u like me don't pay, u can still buy stuff with the in-game earned money/tokens. Huge maps, loads of players, good hitbox detection and pretty fun all around. Ive played it on high settings, but found it is better to play on low or medium, game isnt that technical that u need to play it on high. I play these on the SS and CrimeCraft, L4D 2, Unreal Tournament 2004, Star Trek Online. Oh yes, and the Origin games isnt included, but its mainly all the Battlefield series.

Sorry to see you go GreyWolf, remember when I started play on xi servers back in 2008-2009, your were more active in-games and you were on my toplist over ppl to freeze. I respect you very much. Hope life outside the xi and gaming will treat you well. Good luck and godspeed.
