Ruthless

So, if we are putting up a new version soon can we make sure we include enough arabian bones in it? Ruthless keeps stealing the bones and it makes the maps freak out.
 
Seriously though, it does seem to be happening more often now and usually when someone uses a killstreak perk of some sort. Last night it happened when one of the last two people brought out an RC-car during overtime.

Getting a bunch of idiots to all to go spectator mode on a ftag server is like trying to herd cats.

no the map that really needs to go is sipin and hv2 those maps are horrible and take round 2hours or longer to play blue river not that bad but it wouldnt hurt my feelings if it was gone need to bring maps back like terminal and aerodrome modern backlot redzone skidrow those are awesome maps to play

I second moonpie's comment about autobalance in overtime.
Can you imagine a hard fought game you came from behind and went to overtime and got switched last minute in overtime to the losing team because the other team got froze and left the game early?
 
I do not like autobalancing during the round. The team should be punished if they can't get someone to stay until the round is over.
It never seemed like that big of a problem. It was neat being able to ward the other team off 3 players down.
 
What it is doing is changing the entire texture of the teams too much. When your team changes so dramatically during the game you don't feel as connected to staying with them for the duration of the game.

Is it possible to turn off autobalance when the score is in Overtime (4-4)? I was playing yesterday and about 10 seconds into OT I was autobalanced (dead). The primary reason this is a problem is that folks on the other team started disconnecting when they died at the beginning of the 9th round.
 
Although, I guess it is an easy way to kill off some of the other team if you are losing and already dead...

We should have a 'Hall of fame thread' or something to put outrages scores like our 100+s (kills or thaws).
Now for a real challenge try for the double 100+ (kills AND thaws) same map.

I wouldn't play the beta unless an admin was on and playing too so they could change the map when they hung. It sucks having 10 people on a server that just give up and go offline after a map crashes.
I understand and like the idea of a redirect but personally hate being redirected to anything and will ~/disconnect before it even has a chance to put me anywhere else.
The beta is a different game. Seems we will be playing it as the normal soon but it is a lot different than the current version. I like freeze tag and will play it but I do not like it as much as the old version. You must play this mod more carefully i.e. slowly. It is more similar to the original version of FT now. And don't think "you just don't like it because you suck at this mod", I have had great scores on the beta server already.
Ultimately I will play whatever is up there - as long as it is freeze tag.

i think most like chicago because they know they have 128 bones...no more no less...where as on the beta we have been reminded of our frailties and deformities enough times to damage self esteem......i got enough problems as it is without knowing that i have too many bones and such......

You are doing everything but that. Do a clean install of everything. Your are going to waste more time trying to find out what is corrupt than if you just wiped it all and started over.

I would like to see map mp_hidden_valley and map mp_simple_city not back to back. They are similar types of maps. Could you mix them in the lineup somewhere apart? Although if you forgot to put one back in...
 
I vote for the removal of mp_dead_lawn and mp_kob_breakout.(Teleporting graveyard place and the map with the stupid tunnels that never finishes before overtime)
 
I have actually grown fond of the crazy ass mp_heavensource. We've had some good battles on that map. I understand why people don't like it though.

I must disagree a little with you Mr. Hackeklaus. One of the reasons I was glad to finally get asked to join the clan was BECAUSE i got kicked a bunch to make room for members. I realize most of the time it is the lowest score of a non XI but with me it used to be... lol.
I realize many people get upset when the come back on and yell "WHY THE !#$#@ WAS I KICKED!!!" but after someone calmly tells them it was to make room for a XI member they generally understand. I've never seen (personally) anyone who was real mad at anyone after being kicked if someone told them why once they got back in. It is a good reason you would want to be a part of XI!
