Skeetervac For Catching Bugs!
little_old_man replied to WeednFeed's topic in Hunting, Shooting, Fishing, Boating
The most memorable trips I've ever taken to Canada involved great fishing, and so many fucking bugs that it just about ruined the fishing. I once was golfing in Florida and 10 of us were chased off the course when a swarm of yellow flies decended on us and starting biting the shit out of everybody. On my honeymoon in Hawaii, our rental car was infested with cock roaches the size of silver dollars. When you opened the car door at night, dozens of them would scatter. The inside of our condo had them too, but the geko's climbing on the walls (inside) would eat all the bugs, and they didn't bite us. I have a lot of complaints about where I live (California) but there are fewer bugs here than anyplace I've visited or lived so I put up with the weirdos here. -
That guy must shit like a bird. It just falls out whenever a load gets to the lower intestine.

Moosehead kind of sucks. Scratch that, it really sucks.

My grandpa always said that his favorite beer was the one in his hand at the moment. He loved them all. Judging by your past drinking experience, I'd say stick to a domestic beer. Go out with friends and try lots of different beers. We literally have thousands available in the US and there really aren't too many that are bad. Micro breweries make some of the best beers out there and every region has their favorites. You're young, go experiment and have fun doing it.

I worked in my family business for 30 years, and we had no hesitation at all walking into each other's office while on an important business call and ripping one. Since the receiver is on a call and can't leave the room, it makes it especially funny knowing they were getting sick from the stench and couldn't do anything about it. Of course we rigged expolding toilet seats too, but that's another story.

Her mom, her grandma and aunt all died of breast cancer. She DOES NOT have the gene that causes breast cancer but is still going to have a double masectomy so she never gets breast cancer. While I understand her reasons for thinking about it, cutting these puppies off will be a loss to the world. Oh, did I mention that she is Miss Washington DC in the Miss America pagent tomorrow night? If I was a woman and looked like her with those works of art hanging under my chin, I would be looking for other alternatives. Her name is Allyn Rose. http://www.thehollyw...double-mastect/

Ar 15 Uses In Connecticut Shooting Was All A Lie.
little_old_man replied to hxtr's topic in General Discussion
It's difficult to separate fact from fiction, and regardless of whether the AR15 was found in his car or in the school, he did have one with him the day of the shooting, and if he left it in the car we can consider ourselves lucky he didn't take it. Had he actually used it in the school I would think that the death toll would have been much higher. They've said that there were more than 90 rounds fired and that would have required a few re-loads, even with 4 handguns equipped with standard sized magazines. For what it's worth, I don't blame guns and the ease of obtaining guns on this shooting, I blame the mother who felt that teaching her mentally unstable son to shoot would boost his self-esteem, and I blame her for not securing her weapons so he couldn't get to them. Even if he had only a single handgun with an 8 round clip, he could have killed the same number of people if he was taught how to quickly re-load and carried several mags with him. This is the NBC news report that came out shortly after the shooting stating that the AR15 was found in the car and not in the school. The official story seems to have changed since then, probably since it didn't fit in with the story they wanted the world the hear about the evils of private citizens owning "assault" weapons. -
PS: Painsponge is a really crappy player, so if you aren't that great at COD2 he makes an easy target.

I knew this technology was out there, but I didn't realize how good it was. I wish we had these in-game, it would make the sniping maps a whole lot more fun. http://www.nbcnews.com/technology/gadgetbox/futuristic-rifle-turns-novice-sharpshooter-1B7916613?ocid=msnhp&pos=1

Which Car Would You Choose With Just One Vote!

I'm biased as a former 69 Chevelle owner. When my grandpa died in 1985 he left me his that he bought new. It was a sweet ride. -
I found this with a google search. http://www.ehow.com/how_4507506_replace-spark-plugs-pontiac-grand.html Instructions 1 Park the car in cool, shady area and allow the engine to cool. 2 Remove the parts of the Grand Am engine that hinder access to the spark plugs. For a 2.2 L engine, remove the ignition coil housing. For a 2.4 L engine, remove the bolts that hold the retaining ignition coil and disconnect the electrical connector. Pull the assembly straight up and away from the engine to remove it. For a 3.1 L engine, remove the air cleaner. For a 3.4 L engine, remove the windshield wiper module cover and rotate the engine for service access to the rear spark plugs. 3 Locate the spark plug wire and grab it by the spark plug boot. Twist the boot in both directions and pull back to remove the wire. 4 Insert the spark plug socket over the old spark pull and unscrew it from the cylinder well. Remove the old spark plug. 5 Lubricate the threads of the new spark plug and screw it into the cylinder well. 6 Test the tension and adjust it to the required setting. It needs to be 15 ft-lbs. for a 2.2 L engine, 16 ft-lbs. for a 2.4 L engine, 13 ft-lbs. for a 3.1 L engine, and 11 ft-lbs. for a 3.L engine. 7 Reconnect the spark plug wire and twist it to lock the plug in place. 8 Repeat Steps 3 through 7 for the remaining spark plugs. 9 Replace all of the parts that were removed from the Grand Am in Step 2 to reach to the spark plugs.

The term douche bag comes to mind. I'll bet that kid won't find a job as a deck hand anytime soon. -

Where To Get The Best Burgers!
little_old_man replied to MadMonk64's topic in Chilli's Cookery Forums
I agree with Flush, can't buy a better burger than I can make myself. But having said that, at least here on the west coast the best burger chain restaurant in my opinion is In & Out Burger. I've tried 5 Guys and think there is simply no comparison, but like I said neither of them holds a candle to what I make myself. -

You should come to California for a deer hunt. The damn things are like vermin out here. You can't drive down street or highway without one of those fuckers running in front of you. -
I Don't Get Much Fishing Done! Would You?
little_old_man replied to BigPapaDean's topic in General Discussion
To me, fishing is one of the few things in life that is "nearly" as important as women. So yes, I would find a way to do both. -
LOL, I had a blenny go carpet surfing just yesterday. Poor little bastard found the 1 inch gap at the back of my tank and went for it. I'm doing my 150 without a refugium, only a canister filter and skimmer. So far so good. Fish only tanks don't require the high water quality of reef tanks and our water quality in my town is good enough to use out of the tap, so no RO water needed. Just get the chlorine out and it's good to go.

Great looking tank kansas. Post some bigger pictures of the whole tank. Can't see much in that first pic. I just got back into marine tanks after many years and enjoying the hell out of it. I have two 30's and a 150 gallon. Mine are FOWLR tanks and all are a work in progress.
