Damn that's a tough one Loader. Like you said, it's a B&W picture that's been colored, and the colors bleed everywhere. I've cleaned it up a bit but the colors are impossible to blend. I didn't even try to fix the background and cropped it out as much as possible. Given a few hours I could fix it quite a bit more, but here is a somewhat cleaner image.

Somehow I missed this post back in March. I just did it and my ping dropped by about 20 from it's normal 100 to around 79. Now what was that Ugly said about deleting the single player executable? That sounds preferable if it's true.

Ok Cheese it's official. You have way too much fucking time on your hands.

I received an email today that passed my filters and made it to my inbox. It was from eFax and it said I had an 8 page fax waiting for me. Normally I wouldn't bother but I just happen to be waiting for a contract by email and figured the attorney efaxed it to me. I had my finger on the button to click the link and just decided to look a little deeper before doing it and sure enough it was a scam. The link had a re-direct to a web site in Spain. I moused over all of the links in the email and they all went to the same web site. So beware of bogus emails from eFax Corporate.com.

The update could have been for another program or hardware on his PC. I get updates all the time for Microsoft Office, my keyboard, all kinds of random shit that's unrelated to the operating system.

Which update was it? Usually when I have problems like this I Google the update and find a solution. What others have suggested are what I would do, uninstalling the update and making sure it never gets downloaded again.

They don't make em like that any more.

Joe I think it's just the price we pay for living on the west coast. Most of the guys we game with have jobs and are between 40 and 60 years old. By the time it's 9:40 PM here it's 12:40 in the eastern time zone and I can tell you I don't stay up that late too often any more. Usually by 11:00 PM I'm so tired that I can't hit or see a damn thing. Big maps are just a fact of life on XI and if the player count is low you can always switch between DM and TDM. As far as the Valley Summer map is concerned, there will always be some that don't like it, but lately I've been playing there with a lot of people who really like it and it's the only map I can think of where you can camp and snipe and run/gun on the same map. When everybody spawns on or around the bridge it's never boring. Of course I'm biased because I can actually win on that map.

I remember way back when before I knew some of the trade secrets. I was really discouraged that I could never seem to break that certain kill ratio barrier because the other players knew all of the little tricks to get their scores higher. When I first learned about weapon choices and how it gives you mines and extra frags, my scores went through the roof. I say let everybody know them. It makes the game much more interesting.

I realize this won't be appealing to many, but I grew up going to Ohio State football games and had many friends on the team and in the band, which by the way is the best fucking band bar none. They did a video game tribute that is amazing.
