  1. I'm thinking just a beer won't cut it. I have an order in for a stripper pole so Bart can show us his stuff. Welcome back Bart!
  2. Only 24 hours left? Shit I didn't even know he was sick.
  3. That's beautiful DJ. There's nothing like a little national pride to bring a lump in your throat.
  4. Very well done. You know it's a Canadian ATM because people who hide inside of ATM's in the US are stealing your banking info.
  5. Which also explains why birth rates in most developed countries are dropping. We all have so much tech that we're too busy playing with toys instead of having sex. Unless of course we're talking about Hxtr who seems to have a lot of high tech sex toys.
  6. Yes, it would be a blast to have a bunch of people playing TDM. Or, you could take a shower, put something nice on, go pick up a hot woman at a club and tell all of us married guys how fun your 20th birthday was.
  7. Light a candle, read a book.
  8. If they don't buy that excuse and start asking you questions about past tax records, just plead the 5th. Funny how the rules that apply to most of us don't apply to them.
  9. I'm pretty sure you have a bunch of white smiley faces on your desktop. Perhaps your anitvirus will get rid of them.
  10. Wow I had no idea. I know that Caracas is also a musician, perhaps they were bandmates. Thanks for the info Bama.
  11. I came across this video a little while ago with lots of still pictures from behind the scenes on the Star Wars sets. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=466_1406510750 When I graduated high school in 1977 I went to work for my uncle just north of San Francisco in San Rafael. I worked late evenings a lot and always noticed a lot of activity in the warehouse next door to my office, so one night I walked over to take a look to see what what going on. A man met me at the back door and we started talking and he invited me in for a beer. Once inside I was amazed to see that the warehouse was full of men building great big models for the upcoming movie "The Empire Strikes Back". Needless to say I spent every minute I could over there, became good friends with a couple of the model makers and even got to meet George Lucas on a few occasions. They were always coming over to borrow tools and our forklift and told me I was welcome to come over any time as long as I promised to never take pictures of anything, so I unfortunately I didn't. Many of the pictures in the link I provided were taken in that warehouse in San Rafael, and most of the workers I knew went on to be the initial employees of Industrial Light and Magic, which is still going strong today and doing special effect for lots of movies.
  12. Good point. Last Cold Beer will be 122 on his next birthday. I hear he sacrifices puppies at an alter in his basement and eats their brains for some kind of youth ritual.
  13. Holy shit. What are you now, 13? Go have an ice cream cone and hit a Justin Bieber concert. You've earned it.
  14. I searched on his IP address and as it turns out he was from Venezuela which explains why he didn't talk much. Word of his death must have come from Caracas because I think he and Ryan were friends.
  15. You probably didn't notice but I never said Americans invented the computer, I said that they invented that thing he's typing on. All of the miniaturized electronic components which make personal computers possible were invented right here in the good old USA by a man named Jack Kilby. He and Robert Noyce designed and built the very first intergrated circuts back in the late 50's. Kilby went on to make the first hand-held calculator for Texas Instruments and Noyce went on to found Fairchild Semiconductor and Intel. Mechanical clocks were invented some time in the mid 1200's in Europe, but I don't give them credit for inventing the wrist watch. Mechanical devices used for making complex mathmatical calculations have been around for a long time, but without intergrated circuts we would still be feeding IBM punch cards into a machine instead of reading emails on our smart phones. Just sayin.
  16. I think it would also be nice if we could change Cheesy to a shottie only map and add The Office as a pistol map. I also like the idea of adding Valley Summer back into the rotation, although it's a huge map and would need at least 5 or 6 people to make it playable. We need to start thinking of smaller to medium sized maps. It's rare when we have more than 6-8 people playing at the same time.
  17. Very nice looking pipe. You guys did a great job.
  18. I have just learned that a regular player that went by the name of Ryan on our COD2 servers has passed away from a heart attack, he was 68 years old. I'm sorry to say that I didn't know his real name or where he lived, but one of our regulars knew him and passed the news onto us. He was a good player, always fair and never caused any problems. He will be missed.
  19. Well, there is little doubt now that the separatist rebels did it with Russian assistance. As it turns out, the missile launcher drove past a group of AP reporters shortly before the jet was shot down. Reporters have interviewed eye witnesses and from all of the accounts it's a simple matter to see who did it. Here is a link to the story. http://news.msn.com/in-depth/what-happened-the-day-flight-17-was-downed
  20. Thanks Rugger. Pete and I have some pretty big shoes to fill, but I hope we can both live up to the great job done by our predecessors.
  21. Probably have to reach people in-game tonight and tell them to get on the web site for their input. Most of the regs don't come here very often.
