  1. Details just coming in. It is being speculated that Russian seperatists shot the jet down. If true, this is going to create a shit storm for the Russians. http://news.msn.com/world/malaysian-passenger-plane-crashes-in-ukraine-near-russian-border-ifax
  2. It all boils down to physics and understanding how the ball will travel when hit at a certain angle. There have been people around for decades who can make shots like this kid, but unlike those who came before him, he marks the q ball with tags which gives him a huge advantage. I'd like to see if he could predict where the q ball would travel if he couldn't tell where to hit it in advance. Not saying he isn't extremely talented, just that he cheats a bit compared to the old timers.
  3. Have somebody record him Mike and then an admin will ban him.
  4. Logan laughs like a moose in heat.
  5. It doesn't matter how many times I see it, that sheep screaming like Painsponge always cracks me up.
  6. That's animal cruelty. I would never put my dogs in my truck with my wife for an hour.
  7. I don't get too worked up over buzzfeed links because they're no better or worse than any other web sites out there. By far the worst offenders are the search engines especially Google. They dump all kinds of cookies and malware on our PC's every day. I run anti-malware and anti-virus software that keep all of the crap at bay.
  8. My daughter emailed this to me and it's difficult to look at for anybody who has been through it. It's a pictorial about a dogs last day on earth, and there is a video at the end. http://www.buzzfeed.com/alanwhite/this-story-of-a-dogs-last-day-on-earth-is-beautiful-and-hear?bffb
  9. Nice fish Nacho. We ate the last of our salmon over the weekend. Time for another trip to fill the freezer.
  10. True, the world economy is oil based and they are very powerful. But if we went from an oil to solar based economy, the makers of solar cells and those who control the electricity created by them would own the world just like the oil companies do now. We're fucked either way.
  11. After doing a little more searching it appears that just about every claim these people have made has been debunked as complete bullshit. Here is a video that explains it all if you want to spend 30 minutes watching it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=obS6TUVSZds
  12. It's a nice theory, but for the cost of research/development, installation and maintaing the cells nationally, we could probably perfect cold fusion. We're talking about hundreds of billions of dollars to do something like this. There is also the little problems we have with current solar technology. Solar cells have about a 20-30 year life expectancy and decrease their output each year until eventually they produce nothing. So with our current technology we would have to replace all of the solar cells every 20 years. Having said that, I can see where this idea would be very cool for homeowners replacing driveways, decks and sidewalks with solar cells if the cost was less than putting them on a roof. It all comes down to affordability regardless if you are a homeowner or the US government.
  13. If that's true my family should live forever.
  14. Thanks for the link Loader. I believe this could finally be the career my son has been looking for.
  15. Congratulations Yop!
  16. I still do it the old fashioned way too. I buy it from people who do all the work.
  17. LOL, well done Leadfinger.
  18. I came across these videos of WWII photographs taken by German and Russian soldiers. They're very well done and gives us an idea how the other side dealt with the war. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=09e_1404846344 http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=377_1404768940
  19. Hmmm, maybe. I just realized that in the kneeling position my body looks kind of like a swastika.
  20. So cute and so helpless when they are young. In my local paper today there was a story of a 99 year old man that heard a noise on his back porch, opened the door and this baby doe walked into his house. It was separated from its mother and was trying to suckle on his leg. It's about a week old and hunger has made it lose all fear of humans.
