For what it's worth, I contacted Activision today about the COD2 server issues and they acted like they weren't aware of it and said they would get on it asap. I told them about the issues with HLSW and connecting to the master server, so we'll see what (if anything) happens.

Most people who are completely against legalization are the direct result of about 90 years of mis-information by the government. I don't like to use it myself but I rarely drink either. I just prefer living life without stimulants, I've always been that way. But I don't have a problem with other's using it, no more than drinking responsibly. My main concern with complete legalization is over-use by young kids that use it as an escape from reality and do whatever is necessary to get more. I've seen it many times where I live, kids come to class stoned and it becomes like a cup of coffee, they can't do anything without having a joint before facing the world. Some stay that way until their late 20's (or longer) when they finally realize that living with their parents, and the inability to get and keep a job just "might" have something to do with being stoned all of the time.

I remember back in the days of Area 51 when Element was running it, he would frequently change the players to be strange objects like trees, kitchen appliances etc. I guess there was a strange glitch that kicked in.

Hmmm, I wouldn't think leaving a copper BB embeded in your hand would be a good idea. At some point the copper may oxidize, and copper oxidation is toxic to humans. This is why some cookware is made of copper but the inside is lined with steel or tin. I have a custom made copper sink in my kitchen and the guy who made it said not to place food directly in the sink and then eat it because of the oxidation toxins. I had a dozen buck shot taken out of my back when I was 16. Some douche bag was hunting on our family farm and heard me through the woods and shot me at about 50 yards. Hurt like a MF'r but I lived to tell about it.

What (or where) is M & M? Nevermind, just figured out it's maps & mods. So how does one get permission to download the maps, and once we do how do we view them in game mode without having them uploaded to the server?

Are you sure that you want to do that Randall? Those of us who regularly play COD2 see people come over from the other servers all the time, and they just aren't mentally or physically prepared for the demands of COD2 games. They generally get frustrated and leave within a few minutes because they simply can't keep up.

We'll make a push and remind everybody after the holiday is over. We need to get moving on this and get it done. To answer your question, it will be over when my team wins.

Great job Rascal! Efforts like yours are the backbone behind local shelters. For anybody that's ever considered donating the those tear jerker ASPCA commercials on TV please don't do it. They claim to be a national organization when nothing could be further from the truth. The fact is that the tens of millions of dollars those commercials bring in every year all go the the Brooklyn NY humane society and almost nothing goes other shelters. The board of directors and officers for this "non profit" organization all make huge salaries and the entire advertising campaign is a scam.
