  1. Solution: Use Firefox... (Just updated to v15.0 by the way - it's a security update.)
  2. Don't be surprised if fans of Fr John Corapi, a former Roman Catholic priest who became famous for his lectures on EWTN, pester you as his new handle is similar... I'm sure you can give appropriate blessings!
  3. Eh? Aren't The Yellows good enough?
  4. I wouldn't be surprised if it was this fellow... http://youtu.be/lbIqL-lN1B4
  5. I would imagine the psychological effect on a potential target of having lasers trained on him etc would lessen the risk of actually having to pull the trigger. I am not a fan of firearms but recognise the deterrent effect that could be achieved without using deadly force on an intruder. Our police "illuminate" violent suspects with a taser laser prior to discharge and that can be enough to get them to comply.
  6. Be safe and be well (that goes for all of you in affected areas)!
  7. "Within days of its discovery it appears that a new zero day flaw in Java could soon be in widespread use. FireEye first reported on the flaw being used in a targeted attack originating from a Chinese web server. The web page hosting the exploit is timestamped August 22nd, 2012. The flaw affects all versions of Oracle's Java 7 (version 1.7) on all supported platforms. Java 6 and earlier are unaffected. No patch is available at this time." Thanks, Mark' - it's great!
  9. You'll have to be quite a bit more specific for us to have a clue as to what you're referring. I can't recall reading anything that denigrates a specific ethnic group and the use of the translator suggests a celebration of native American languages. The results have been flattering and quite beautiful in some respects.
  10. Only if he reads your post Chingachgook. Slowfry made it perfectly clear to you, Johnny, that he expects the "Head COD5 medicine man" to tell him!
  11. lmao.... mine is appropriate.. Yours is the same as Baldie's. Are you twins?
  12. When do you think he'll wake up?! LMAO! Mine is "Ohitekah", meaning "brave". Find out yours at http://www.quizopolis.com/native-american-name-generator.php
  13. Statement from the family of Neil A. Armstrong (retrieved via spaceref.com): Saturday, August 25, 2012 "We are heartbroken to share the news that Neil Armstrong has passed away following complications resulting from cardiovascular procedures. Neil was our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Neil Armstrong was also a reluctant American hero who always believed he was just doing his job. He served his Nation proudly, as a navy fighter pilot, test pilot, and astronaut. He also found success back home in his native Ohio in business and academia, and became a community leader in Cincinnati. He remained an advocate of aviation and exploration throughout his life and never lost his boyhood wonder of these pursuits. As much as Neil cherished his privacy, he always appreciated the expressions of good will from people around the world and from all walks of life. While we mourn the loss of a very good man, we also celebrate his remarkable life and hope that it serves as an example to young people around the world to work hard to make their dreams come true, to be willing to explore and push the limits, and to selflessly serve a cause greater than themselves. For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink."
  14. Very sad to read this - the man was my childhood hero and I shall never forget being roused from my slumbers early in the morning to watch him step onto the Moon live via TV. That remains the single greatest privilege of being born to my generation. No other event comes close. This is for Neil - RIP:
  15. Happy Birthday, Boss! Enjoy the special day!
  16. You can be certain that there will be no comment from HM or anyone else in the Royal Family. A possibility, but by no means a certainty, is that the Army may make a statement after the "interview without coffee". The prince appears to have done what hot-blooded young princes have done for centuries. If there's anything scandalous, it is the intrusion into his privacy. I gather a British tabloid has now also published the pictures. As I don't buy national newspapers, I can't boycott it in protest.
  17. If you are looking to upgrade your graphics card....wait! http://www.tomshardware.com/news/amd-gpu-Radeon-7850-7870,17097.html#xtor=RSS-998
  18. Hxtr, you can join my anarcho-syndicalist commune! You can even be Executive Officer of the Week ( as long as Rugger ratifies that!).
  19. I cannot connect to either VFT or DM tonight as the server times out. It looks as if a handful of people have managed to play on there, though. I can connect to a non-XI server.
  20. All the Admins give their time and effort for the benefit of the many so deserve our continual thanks. I think offence could be caused if people offered negative comments, even in perceived jest - simply there is no "best" and "worst" and these fine people are not in competition with one another away from the context of the battlefield. And that's all I have to say about that...
  21. Another g'day from the mother country! There are plenty of us who are "of mature years" so hope you enjoy our company. See you on the battlefield!
