tsw 8.5 yes it is a great game and i like it a lot ..and DEEJAY .just get in to team speak with us .. I have TS updated and have had to mess with the PTT activation to avoid my character going prone every time I talk... Maybe you can give me some flying lessons?

I am hooked! I haven't laughed so much in a very long time! Tonight's debut saw me flying inverted out of the game area several times, crashing a helicopter before I went anywhere and generally p*ss*ng myself with laughter! F*** knows what Cygon and CplMofo saw from the ground! My face and ribs were f***in' aching! Apologies if you wanted a serious game, fellas, but I have to learn somehow and I am having major problems with aircraft! hahahaha! If you don't have this installed, buy it now - it is a SCREAM! I look forward to crying for the right reason again later on but I have to get to bed (nearly 3am here). Thanks for all the fun and how does one chat in game? Maybe I better buy a Brady guide...

BBC News reports that Steam has been hacked. " The Steam video game service, used by 35 million people, has been compromised by hackers. Its owner and operator, Valve, uncovered an intrusion into a user database while investigating a security breach of its discussion forums. The attackers used login details from the forum hack to access a database that held ID and credit card data. Valve said that, so far, it had no evidence that credit cards were being misused or Steam accounts abused." MadMonk64 and I stumbled upon a couple of potential glitch spots on this map - a sniper map featuring opposing forts. We were able to walk inside walls, yet remain invisible to the opposition (neither of us was shot but, then again, neither of us shot anyone from them). Quite happy to investigate further next time this one comes round during gameplay - I could walk inside and set off a flare at my feet so see if the team opposite can actually see anything.

No firewall and no AV cover is asking for trouble. Guess some folks haven't heard of botnets and drive-by infections... Heck, there are even back doors into OS X these days! I have long rated AVG's free offering but it doesn't include some features of the paid-for product. Both Norton and McAfee products have caused me real headaches. Symantec had to send me three A4 pages of instructions to remove their product from my system once and that isn't the mark of a great program! My first job when I buy a machine with Norton or McAfee stuff on it is to remove it!

Gaming can suffer. I have just opted to pay a little extra each month to PlusNet to prioritise gaming 24/7/365. it is claimed that this brings pings down but the lowest I have got since the upgrade has been 140ms. Scotty said,"ye cannae change the laws of physics, Captain" and the physical distance betweens us Brits and US-based servers is a constant about which we can do nothing. I have come to accept that gunfights with low-ping players will rarely, if ever, end in my favour. There are a few tactics that ping does not adversely affect so we can still play competitively.
