So I moved to my present home on July 3rd, 19 years ago and like every year on this weekend the sky is filled with fireworks. Many people all over have private fireworks displays, but one in particular here is incredible. This is not a city or township sponsored event, but a group of about 20 residents of a small island in the middle of an 845 acre lake. These fireworks are very illegal in Michigan (we go to Ohio or Indiana to buy), but that doesn't seem to deter anyone thoughout the state (and country, for that matter). But many cities and towns would envy the hour long show that these folks put on (must be thousands of $$$). Check out the sample (ran out of memory before the finale):

Ok, up here in Michigan it was ONLY 89 degrees this afternoon, but the 90% humidity was making it feel over 100. Nice sunny day until 5:30 - boating, pulling kids on tube and skiing, then get a severe thunder storm, high winds blow over our canopy in our yard, hail comes down pelting us. Two hours later, sun is back out and we continue a nice evening! Like we say in Michigan about the weather, wait a few hours and it will change!! Hey, can you really cook eggs on the rocks an AZ??!!

Parents!! So much crap that people do go back to upbringing. If kids are taught right from wrong and explained, exposure to many things deemed "harmful", like video games, can be seen as just that - a game (imaginary) and not real life. In games, you can shoot people (and get shot), crash cars & sell drugs (GTA), slice with swords - it's cartoons!! Hell, rocks fell on Wile E. Coyote when we were kids and we knew he couldn't survive in real life. It's entertainment and amusing fun!! Of course, there is an age factor that parents should know - common sense. Talk to your kids!!

Got this today for Fathers Day - thanks to MidgetnatorJr! Got though a few missions in single player pretty smoothly, but then tried multi and got owned. I want to say do to some lag, but may need to get the hang of it again. Had to remember all the weapons and how to use them. Guys were flying all over and I was getting owned because I didn't see them most of the time. Had all the shrink guns and squashing and freeze guns and bashing. Pretty funny! But loved the single player and all the amusing comments and inter-action. Anybody else try it yet? XI server in the works??

Nice intro, Ferret, though we've been running from your bashes in COD2 for a while now. And like Bart siad, you guys in COD4 better wear kevlar undies!! Only played COD4 a few times, but besides COD2 been enjoying the COD5 server, with Paperman also - I prefer the WW2 era FPS's. Hope to still see ya in COD2 Ferret!!

Agree Hawk!! My wife and I often catch Animal Cops, where they investigate this crap. These owners should be put in the same situation these animals have had to live in as punishment...no food, water, cold and no attention at all. Amazing part is they don't even realize or care. Great when they take away ALL rights to own a pet. Good luck with the little guy!
