Been playing since the start! And what I noticed missing and should be mentioned is between COD1 and COD2 was a GREAT expansion pack to COD1 call United Offensive. We played this for a LONG time at work on our server and was great fun since it was when tanks, jeeps, armored trucks, bazookas and satchels were first introduced. COD2 fell down when it came out since it did NOT include these nice features in the multiplayer version (only in the single player). Fortunately, World at War brought back some of this later in some maps.

OMG Kash! I wish I had a PC that could handle having that many installed, not to mention the time to play them. But I can say through the years I have played and sometimes even completed about half of your list. Played many of the War style of FPS games (COD, Couterstrike, Battlefield series, Day of Defeat, Crysis. Etc.) Half Life's, Fear, Team Fortress also. Prey and Portal were pretty cool games. Can't wait for the new Duke-Nukem!! Not much into non FPS, so Sims, World of Warcraft and those type never bothered with. Kids had all the Lego games, but past those now. And are you kidding...they have a Greys Anatomy? Why? Do you save patients or screw other doctors?! LOL! Kids have the Wii and now Xbox 360, but I prefer the PC. When I hit the Lotto or retire, I'll try them all!!

Yes, this is a common problem, but you should have only needed to delete the file the error pointed out - in your case xih.iwd. Sometimes there will be more than one, but delete ONLY the ones that are errors. Like Gorilla said, if you delete any that come with the CD when you installed the game, you're screwed and will need to re-install the game. You shouldn't have had to delete the player folder. The map files that are errors will be in the MAIN folder under Programs\Call of Duy 2\Main. Good luck.

My son, MidgetnatorJr>XI< plays it a lot (1 & 2). He like the zombie thing and also plays in the COD zombie servers, as well. Not my thing though....not as fun killing the "already dead"!! LOL! Actually played the single player a bit, but that's it.

Same here. Been playing and chatting with CptCananda for some time in the COD2 server - good sport and good player. Welcome to the forums Capt. Log the time and keep on shooting. There's a few admins who know of you by now, so I'm sure they'll help you out.
