  1. Dean - a power supply tester is 10.00 or so. Less than the shipping on another one.
  2. Dean - Also disconnect every wire from the case to the motherboard except for the f-panel connections. You may possibly have a short in one of the wires. Happened to me once - drove me bananas until I figured it out.
  3. The hdmi cable from the pc must be plugged into the 2nd hdmi port on the tv - not the first one. It will not work if it is plugged into the first one.
  4. Sounds like you have a defective power supply to me. Been there, done that. Might try borrowing one from someone to try temporarily.
  5. I am in need of an AM3 socket motherboard. If you have an one laying around not being used I'd like to buy it. PM me if you have something please. Thanks, Aflac
  6. Damn Thought I did but I have quake 4.
  7. I've got it Jim. I'll re-download it tonight. No multiplayer - only co-op. Steam - AflacDuck>XI< X-fire - AlphaLoc1 Add me on them and get in touch with me and we'll play a game. Rob
  8. I finally got all this up and running through steam but I have a question. After a map download my game crashes. Other than that it all works perfectly. Anyone have an idea why?
  9. If you have windows 7 it has a memory testing program built into it. I would start there.
  10. Download SIW (system Information for Windows). It is freeware. It will give you your key for COD and everything else on your computer Dean.
  11. Unplug everything from your motherboard but the bare essentials - leave the power supply and the hard drive only plugged in. Boot your computer up. If it works ok then plug something else into the board and boot it up again. Keep going until your hard drive messes up. I have run across this problem before. Hope this helps you cat. Oops, nevermind - didn't see your last post.
