Just sharing my opinion on the game options I would like to see in hardcore: I think it should be on, I also think 3D spotting should be on because the game sucks without it, and a HUD is the most strategic part of any FPS, I also think the health should be increased from 60 to 100 and the number of players should be changed from 32 to 64. Those are the only problems that I can think of at this time about hardcore that needs to be changed, fix those things listed above and add 3rd person vehicle view and now we're talking about a great game that leaves a smile on your face.

The financial issues in the USA are because of some bad social policies that we adopted in the early 90's and a failure to properly regulate our banks (and government overspending of course), after we repealed the Glass Steagall act in the late 90's it allowed our banks to compete with foreign banks, but it also brought with it some problems that should have been regulated at the same time they repealed the act. From a financial standpoint it makes perfect sense to allow our banks to invest the money they take in from depositors, but it should be highly regulated to indicate what percentage and in what type of investments that money can be placed. High risk Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac bundled portfolios that used to have 8% high risk loans rose to over 20% and that's the problem. Simply re-enacting Glass Steagall prevents US banks from competing with the global market, and that is not good for our economy, that's a baby bathwater scenario. So I have to call bs on this guy once again (in fact over and over). So please take no offense at my previous comments, I'm not attacking you, I just gotta call bs on this LeRouche guy, his comments are offensive and preposterous. WIMMPYIII This is BF3s big fail point. Other then screenshots and MD5 checks performed by the anti cheat software there is no way to catch these. Just 1 out of the 2 tools we have had running the last month has cought a hacker for almost every day it has been up. The problem with stats is anyone that cares about getting banned can pad them out very easy. And when there accounts do get out of hand and they are reported to EA all they do is reset there accout to 0 and let them play on. Its a real shame that spectator was not added. +1

Additional things to look for and verify would be that players "stats", look for unusually high kill streaks, insane score per minute and accuracy percentages. Compare these stats to the stats of someone like xCaliber or BigGoliath1 or some other good player, always assume they are "NOT" hacking and then attempt to "Prove" to yourself they are, and then let any BF3 admin know and they'll be gone with a keystroke. Without a spectator mode it would be impossible to see or not see "recoil" or "bullet spread" but there is usually something in those stats that will stand out.

We have his GUID number and he will be banned from all 3 of our servers. I am not saying this is your issue, only bringing something to the foreground. Did you re-install your PB "AFTER" you corrected the firewall issues? It is entirely possible your firewall could have already sandboxed or shut down portions of the program preventing it from working. This is only a suggestion based on my own experience, I'm not an expert and wanted to offer what I would do. I would completely un-install the firewalls, then re-install PB and then after I got the game running, I would re-install my firewall,anti-virus etc. Goodluck, I hope you get it working.

ty, I had an internet interruption yesterday and it took a little while to get it going again. This time I was already aware of it and already working on it, but next time I might not be, so I appreciate the communication. In the future a PM through this website is going to be a better way to contact me though, instead of a thread that I might not see for a day or two. I usually check and reboot the server plug-ins once or twice a day to prevent issues, but sometimes those ISP guys will get one past me. Thanx again guys for the info and kind words

hxtr i gave my copy away........... it wanted to update my video driver. Fuck that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It wanted to do everything from a fucking web page...... fuck that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It took 3 days of errors to download the fucking patch......... fuck that!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But Rugger an many others say it is the best game ever soooo.............. go for it. But I blame rugger for buying it. hahahahahahahhahaahhaah DICK! Sorry it sucked for you hxtr would have liked to see in the servers on this game. I have to ask though, why would you not want to update your video drivers when they increase the performance of your video card? Seriously, you kind of lost me on that one. My opinion of the game remains the best fps I have ever played, realistic physics, absolutely beautiful graphics, silky gameplay, cool game modes, vehicles, leveling based on playing a specific class or vehicle (you only level up that class or vehicle while playing it) lots of personal customization and specialized team based gameplay. Goes on and on but I'll stop there, goodluck, hope you get it and love it as much as I do.

I have the Q6600 G0 there are better processors but I can tell you don't get a Q6600 B3 stepping they don't OC as well as the G0 and are not made to run at higher temps. I think the video card and RAM for BF3 is a bigger deal though then the processor. I have Q6600 G0 4GB Ballistix Iron has an intel 2.13ghz dual core (forget the model number) 6 GB RAM And he loads into maps faster than I do, but loaded in slower than me when he had 2GB of RAM if that means anything.

xCaliber i feel ppl would stop hacking as soon as they see ADM tag? plus admin wont be able to stay with [XI] squad anytime server changes map...they will shuffle up in both teams..bcz their tag is different than XI I will change like Xray said ... Tags have nothing to do with either the live or round balancer, doesn't matter what your tags are it won't effect how you get balanced. If the "keep clans live" option was on...it would place ALL XI members on the same team every round. So your safe to change it without effecting your game and squad. I'm confused, are we still debating this or agreeing with it? Call of Duty WAS epic, but they don't make games for PC's anymore. If they adopted a totally new engine with better physics, gave full dedicated server access as well as full use mod tools and built the game from the ground up for PC with today's hardware capability then they would have something. As of now with their piss poor policies of catering to consoles and consistently jacking their PC backbone with their 12 yr old gaming engine I would say they are a very very very long way from ever producing anything EPIC. That's just my opinion on the subject, BF3 is the best of the best. If they can figure out how to compete with it, I'll be watching but will rely on reviews before I ever buy anything COD ever again. Even then though, it's doubtful for this consumer.
