I was a clinical supervisor for a private radiology firm here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for 20 years. I have now moved on to be the radiation safety officer for the entire firm managing 17 sites. I will most likely retire in the next 5 years and promptly forget what I did for a living, not that I didnt enjoy it. I have always loved working with patients and staff. Prior to that I worked in hospitals for 12 years in Washington state where I met my wife and we had two girls. My wife graduated university and we relocated to Canada where she could start her career in Psychology. My wife, myself and two daughters have always called Canada and America our homes.

As many of you know, my incredible wife has been fighting a courageous battle with Leukaemia. Less than 10 years ago she would have had an 11% chance of survival. With the use mRNA technology which is used in the Covid Vaccine things have changed. With the help of this amazing medical miracle, cancer treatments can be tailored to ones person specific disease and make what was impossible years before now possible. Today Mrs Pete rang the bell. For those who have battled cancer you know full well the significance of that is. It marks a milestone In treatment in that her chemo is done and she now begins the road to a normal life. Mrs Pete will always have this awful disease but for the first time in a long dark winter.. the sun shines. I love you Jody! Pete

I just got the message and it breaks my heart. Bart has been a part of the fabric and made this clan special. I don’t wish to imagine a time where he is not around. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family the next several days.

I respectfully don’t want to get into the vaccination wars for we have beat that subject into the ground. I just wanted to add one comment on the technology surrounding mRNA’s. Mrs Pete has Leukemia, a cancer that is not curable and she will fight this awful disease until there are no more days left. People like my wife have a fighting chance to live a long life with technology such as this. My thoughts, get vaccinated don’t get vaccinated. There is more to this than you can imagine and yes on both sides of the coin. Stay safe regardless.

I have an idea, why don’t we round up all this people who make outlandish and false claims that have been debunked so many times we have lost count. The internet in all its glory has given these people a megaphone to spew this rhetoric. Having a voice doesn’t make you an authority, it just make you the loudest asshole in the room. It’s time for these individuals to get out of their moms basement and contribute to society. Don’t be scared, that orange ball in the sky is only the sun it won’t harm… no need to blog about that.

Regretfully you are correct my friend, there are individuals who are indigenous who wish to blame their lot in life on anyone and anything without taking one once of responsibility themselves. But please remember those individuals are the one who wish to have the spotlight for they want all the attention, good or bad. There are countless who wish to live their lives as you and I in peace. There is a lot of to be done and burning of churches are not one. Pain and suffering only leads to more pain and suffering. If one thing Labob I wish to express is this is beyond historical events of 125 years ago. Some of these events happened in our own lifetime, to many people still alive. There is a lot we can learn from each other.
