  1. That’s an awful tragedy, I hope you are all safe who were in the path of that storm.
  2. Those are great pics, does make this time of season more festive. Where are you from?
  3. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
  4. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your wife. Here is to her making a fast and full recover.
  5. Great post, funny you mention, I just made steak the other night. Love a rare to medium steak!
  6. It’s funny you say that, as a kid I would play And Your Bird Can Sing on my guitar over and over trying to master the guitar lick. Oddly enough it’s McCartney on lead and not Harrison.
  7. Must prior to covid I had a chance to make it to London for work. I admit, that spot gives you chills to this day.
  8. Great post Beers, Abbey Road was always one of my most favorite albums ever, Revolver as well.
  9. Someone make that guy an admin lol.
  10. Hey Laz No, I am not directly involved in vaccine mandates or any studies. I only know from first hand knowledge dealing with staff and patients. To date, I indirectly manage some 150 techs throughout the province. I have have not heard nor do I know of any knowledge of technologists having any side effect what so ever. I have heard of one breakthrough case of Covid with a vaccinated staff member. That is first hand knowledge Laz and not some random unknown study. As for Newsome? Get off social media and those fringe websites. https://abc7news.com/where-is-gavin-newsom-right-now-california-governor-disappears-missing/11213410/
  11. I would marry you Queen but Mrs Pete may have a problem with that lol
  12. Amen brother.
  13. Sammy, I appreciate your comments for you see what this really is. It’s the culture of fear and division. It’s easy for some to marginalize, label and disrespect others or they don’t really care to consider anyone’s opinion but their own. Herman Goering once said and I am paraphrasing: “ The people don't want war, but they can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce others for lack of patriotism and for exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.” Sound familiar Ted?
  14. "elitist political" mentality? What are you talking about? All I wish is for everyone to support your first responders and healthcare providers through this mess. Stop making this political and do the right think you dork!
  15. No offense but why don’t you support healthcare providers through this mess, cute memes don’t help. Maybe just a thank you would be appropriate. While I’m here, thank you to all those who gave selflessly through this mess.
  16. I saw this video and regardless where you sand on vaccines the one we need to do is respect each other’s wishes and opinions regardless. I believe in vaccines but I believe in personal freedoms more.
  17. This is an interesting site. You can click in each of their stories, pretty sad. https://www.sorryantivaxxer.com
  18. Please read the article below. The video you posted was from December 2020 and in the world of covid that’s been proven ineffective. Also, the physician quoted (Pierre Kory) got covid in September 2021 while supposedly on the drug he was promoting would prevent covid. https://www.bbc.com/news/health-58170809
  19. Awesome buy Ron. I have always driven an SUV but the Mrs Pete convinced me to buy a 2020 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition. I would like to say I drive it often but it seems to be Mrs Pete vehicle more often than not. Lol
  20. Mike, not sure why you insist on twisting this to fit your narrative. Powell had multiple myeloma, a cancer of the white blood cells that suppresses the body's immune response. Even if fully vaccinated against Covid-19, those who are immunocompromised are at greater risk from the virus, hence why they list his death as complications from Covid-19.
  21. Mike, the man had multiple myeloma, a cancer that greatly effects white blood cells and he was 84 years old. Give the anti-vaxer stuff a break. The man and his family deserve a great level of our respect. Thx
  22. I agree, this is not a science guys. There is no formula to which post will remain and which one is closed. As Labob mentioned we don’t wish to see personal attacks nor do we want these contentious subjects to spill into the servers. Most of the time these forums die out on their own and in some cases they continue. Rugger and the seniors look at them on an individual basis and make a judgment call, it’s not personal and their only concern is what’s best for the group. Now it’s a beautiful Sunday, get you of your basements and enjoy the sun for a change lol
  23. Oh Snap? Lol. Are you 13 and is this TIkTok lol. I can’t really comment on healthcare providers in Ohip but those practices you speak of are not the norm on this side of the border. If that’s true, that’s awful.
  24. Lol, that boogie man does have a strong hold on you doesn’t it Mike. Please tell the nursing staff, the doctors and support staff that you someday will need help from, that they are part of a some large conspiracy. Make sure you tell them prior to your health emergency. In the end we will be giving you the best care we can provide because regardless that’s what we do. Thank you and please stay safe.
