10 Most Livable Cities In the World

Wonder if Detroit's on there - LOL Wouldn't have figured Toronto to be above Calgary though -
PimpedOutPete That's just a pathetically terrible scene Dean... Those coaches and players should all be banned permanently. I disagree. They should all go to jail. In Florida, assault on a game official is considered a felony

I lived in NY for a year and tried to buy beer at a Tops Market and they wouldn't let me because it is illegal to buy alcohol in NY if you have a minor with you, or so they said. My wife and I had our 3 month old son with us. Guess we were fixing to liquor him up!!! Well the wife took the kid to the car and they sold me the beer without a problem - now that's messed up BTW they sometimes give me a hard time in Greenfield, IN with my MI license. Last time I went down there I took my passport. You should have seen her face. I was like "refuse that bitch". Of course she couldn't but she spent 5 minutes checking it to see if it was fake, like that dumb ass could tell a fake P/P from a real one. I was laughing my fat ass off the whole time. All that for a 6 pack of crappy beer

Feels good doesn't it Mule. I was in the same boat, not having a pot to piss in, or a window to throw it out of, as my ex mother in law used to say. Now I have a couple of spare bucks, it feels good to help out the clan and send a little to help a brother in need Rock on

What Obama is doing to help Arizona
NickTheGrip replied to TedsofBeverlyHills's topic in General Discussion
Hickeydog SgtHarryWeezer I have a very simple solution. We already carry a national ID card - SS card. Make it biometric such that when you present it, you also swipe a thumbprint, when queries a database to verify you are who you say you are. Only citizens get it. It can't be faked. Without it, you cannot be employed, bank, buy or rent a house, fly, etc. Then, make it a mandatory felony for the CEO/manager/owner of any business or company which employs anyone who does not have one. When illegals can't work or function in this country, they will go where they can. We won't even have to ship them home. Funny...that sound virtually identical to the laws we already have in place...... Also, all employer are required by law to verify the person's eligibility to work in the US. It has been like that as long as I have been here. I believe the form is the I-9. The problem is these employers don't do the verification required (I had to show my green card in order to work before I got my US citizenship - the SS card isn't sufficient anymore as it is too easily forged) The other problem is the law enforcement agencies do not check. If the employers obeyed the law and ICE enforced their own laws we would not have the problems we have. You don't need this fancy SS card. All citizens are allowed to get passports, as the National ID system gets up and running most state issued ID will be useless to even get on a domestic flight. Non-citizens but legal residents can use their Green cards which are biometric and damned hard to forge now. Bottom line - enforce the law and like Weezy says - the problem will leave for greener pastures. That is why, after Arizona enacted their "bad" law there was a mass exodus of illegals. Unfortunate for CA, NM and TX though which is where they went -

The law actually does not state you have to carry ID. It states you have to identify yourself to an officer of the law when asked. What the United States Supreme Court said. What the United States Supreme Court held in Hiibel v. Sixth Judicial Dist. Court (2004) 542 U.S. 177, was that a state could make it a crime for a person to refuse to identify himself (i.e., tell the officer his name and address) when lawfully detained for criminal activity. Note that the Supreme Court did NOT say that any kind of identification papers could be required, nor did they say that police officers could ordinarily arrest someone for refusing to identify himself absent a state law permitting that arrest. There is no law in the United States requiring everybody to carry ID, at least not yet. -
It's getting too close to re-election time. He doesn't want to alienate a single voter so I doubt Uncle O will get any special treatment. He's going to need every vote he can get next November (God, I hope he loses, as long as it's not Bachmann against him)

That's because they court the "Latin" vote, no other reason. Even though none of the illegals (oops, I forgot, I can't insult them, I need to call them Undocumented - BULLSHIT) can vote, a significant number of the legal Latinos support the illegals because that's how they came here. Both my wife and I are LEGAL immigrants who did things the LEGAL way and we both hate illegals with a passion. It's all down to votes. Most of the politicians are smart enough to know that it only takes a small section of the populace to swing an election. The die-hards will always vote for their party, it's the moderates and "centrists that decide it and snagging the Latino vote swings that pendulum towards whoever supports their rancid cause. It makes me sick. They might as well simply hand out $100 bills to everyone who votes for them. -

To all my fellow Idiots Something happened recently that really brought into focus the true meaning of our wonderful clan, and by the clan, I mean the people in it. A week or two ago there was some thread started, I don't even quite remember what it was about but somehow we segued onto the subject of Lefties and Left Handed mice. I happened to mention, for no apparent reason that I hate hardware manufacturers because none of them make a left handed mouse. In face, I use an old ambidextrous mouse to play - An intellimouse optical to be exact. Well one of our established and esteemed members, Wizid, to be exact popped up and stated he had a left handed mouse laying around and he would be more than willing to send it to me if I was interested. So we moved to the realm of private messaging where I repeatedly offered to at least pay the postage, or pay something for the mouse, not even knowing what type or model but WiZid would have nothing to do with it and lo and behold, 3 days later a box appears on my doorstep with an unopened Logitech MX610 LEFT HANDED mouse in it. Now quite a few of you know me and know how much I talk but this has left me pretty much speechless. I am not sure if WiZid will be happy with me posting this pubicly but I felt a strong urge to put this out there to help remind everyone in the clan what an awesome group of people we are. Things like this just remind me how great people can be without even be asked. Thanks a lot Wizid and if there is ever anything I can do in return please do not hesitate Peace fellow clan members BTW, I would request the "Superman" medal or the "gifts" medal but you already have them!!!
