Hey Harry....use to work on TV's for living. Sounds as if you have a High voltage problem....possibly a tripler in the power supply circuit. You probably want to stop using the TV because it could eventually damage the set permantly!! The high voltgae section is what powers the screen of the TV. Hope this helps!
