EastCoast50, As a Canadian, knowing that we cannot use a firearm or even a knife to defend ourselves, I don't see my gear as prepping. But if we deal with SHTF/WROL ,etc...then its like possible to think about that. I'm in the service still, so if SHTF, I'll be at work.... I don't own my own chest rig/plate carrier or a helmet. Maybe one day if I get into competitive shooting. I got an AR-15 lower (Aero Precision). Building the AR is next. But check my blades collection for SHTF! Its the two variant of the Cold Steel VOYAGER-series knives in AUS10a Steel. I got the "large" with the clip point blade. The huge one is a Voyager XL with a 5.5 Inch tanto point. Also, to supplement, my Ontario Knife Company (OKC) Kukri in 1095 steel, and the old faithful Ka-bar with updated furniture. Got to have at least one Ka-bar! Finally, the fixed blade with the black scabbard is a Czech MIKOV "Uton" assault knife in 1075 steel, unmarked...It was part of a shipment sent to Ukraine as war-aid from the Czechs...and seized at the Turc border apparently.... " For people that don't know about Cold Steel knives, well the owner Lynn Thompson is quite the guy. Of course he is a businessman and he puts on a good show, but the products are good and the man looks like he is a patriot. Some of his videos on Youtube are found to be a little "different", I agree. But torture testing is nice to look at, in order to understand tre limitations...

Not that my opinion matters much, but if you think about an e-sport gamer freak that indeeds ROCKs and obliterates casual players 24/7, I would question the motivation of THAT player to nuke everybody out of a regular server. Just like an NHL hockey player doesn't flip all the kids going to hockey school, just like a teacher that could laugh his students out of the park but doesn't do it because its too easy. I guess is that the overachieving players that come in to a regular server to PAWN noobs are just maliciously taking pleasure doing it. I'm playing Quake Champions, which is a known E-sport title. I'm not bad, but nowere great. There is season pass dudes that compete World-wide, and those guys play RANKED servers for that reason...you wanna compete in YOUR CLASS of people... Do you think that Einstein, if he was the be alive, would spend time pawning high-school Physics teacher? No way. He would deal with world-stage scientists of his level... So, I think that dominating players, if they are coming to the same servers repeatedly to empty it, should be talked to to gauge the motives...clan servers exist because the gameplay, rules (racial, religion, insults) can be enforced and control the experience a little bit. I guess its why clan members donate towards server cost too...because they appreciate the experience of playing with friends more than their own score... Mind you, the only game where I was good enough to seriously aggravate folks and finish in the top 3 repeatedly was COD4 back when it came out....not i'm more of a low-average player... My 2 cents....

It depends on how much money you want to spend. I have a MOSSBERG 500 combo with both an 18.5 inch "defender" barrel with cylinder choke and a 28" bird barrel for a few years. But I recently bought my fetish....Mossberg 590A1 mil-spec with heavy barrel, heavy mag tube (8+1 in the chamber), ghost ring sights, heatshield, 6 rounds ammo side saddle, collapsible stock (ATI Akita), bayonet lug (shit and giggles)....apparently the only shotty to pass the USMC 3000 rounds torture test....to me its a range toy/gun porn, as Canucks like me can't use a firearm as self-defense without most likely end up in court and deep caca.... BTW, the 590A1 milspec is HEAVY, so just go to the gun store to hold one...ultra sturdy, but more expensive and stuff.... I just ordered an adapter for a 1913 picatinny rail for a flashlight...I may get an Olight 1200 lumens light to put on that rail...although again, it would be for stuff and giggles...those real good lights are expensive too.... I prefer a Mossberg because of the tang safety. BUT, if you want a pistol grip, then the Mossberg tang safety end up being less convenient than the Remington's trigger guard mounted safety......and there is the rumor (can't confirm) that Remington has quality control issues nowadays... When I want a good laugh I got on TAOFLEDERMAUS youtube channel...they trial all kinds of slugs... My personal faves are IV8888 channel and Paul Harrell's channel...he is quite good at speaking without pretending, and speaks quite well/seriously about stuff....and he shoots at the meat target lol A good mention to Sootch 00, Mrguns&gear, hickok45 and military arms channel. Basically all Americans. I'm born in the wrong country...

Hi there! I will not go about tell you what you should buy and put in the box (CPU and or GFX card) although Intel/Nvidia is my personal preference...BUT, I can tell you that if you buy a great case, and a powerful/well built PSU, this is like getting a better foundation for a new building. I recommend a full ATX case which is solid in construction. The PSU you picked seems to be a top dog, so congrats....for the GFX card, well I'm jelly. Got a 1070 here, still fits the bill nicely for my needs. I got an older Coolermaster ATCS all aluminum full ATX and a XFX 850 watts 80+ silver(a Seasonic silver that I have kept along with 3 builds....... As for my recommendation for mobos...I always been an ASUS fan, but I got issues, so I'm rocking an MSI mobo since...holding the overclock quite nicely. EVGA used to be the holy grail of GFX cards vendors, but since they killed the lifetime warranty, its not as important....but EVGA used to give you an upgrade when you RMA a defective card....nice.

100% Agreed Boss. But I'm not holding my breath on hoping that Devs will bring back the good days. Pretty darn sad. The game is a little bit better than BF1 in my mind, which is not bad. I just lucked out when I logged on to Origin and seen the game selling for 50% off. That is a first for me, as I always paid full price for a BF game.

Alright, I managed to play a few maps. Graphics are good, although not as good as BF4...its close, but its not equal. Right now, its easy to get spawn killed or having enemies managing to flank you. Run & gun is not what you want to do. And I'm an idiotic runner...so I die a lot and pop a blood vessel... FPS is not too bad, but with my 1070 I get around 60 FPS . Its hard to see the enemy, as some of the gameplay happens in darker areas. I don't know if there is some NVG/INRV/thermal vision or scopes in this, I sure hope so.

I would say, buy a mouse, keep the box and the receipt, register the darn thing with the manufacturer, and get those RMA'd. Usually Logitech is good with this, if you got all your ducks in a row. I own a Corsair M65 Sniper mouse and I start to get double-click on the thumb button I use for "jump" in FPS games....And guess what...I'm an idiot, cause I didnt keep the box and the receipt.....?

The RCMP made the BX-25s prohibited devices overnight in Canada. Happened sometimes last year, due to a technicality, as the Ruger "charger" pistol can take the BX-25. As all pistols mags in Canada have to hold a max of 10 rounds (like California I believe), then booom PROHIB.... The wife bought me a 9mm for my birthday and now a .22LF Browning Buckmark for x-mas....!? I got myself an AR "stripped lower" receiver a few months back and will work on an AR project in .223/5.56. Those are restricted in Canada, so I won't be able to hunt with it...just a range gun I guess...sad.

As I'm still an idiot and had 60 minutes of combined load times waits and crashes, I asked for a refund via Steam. I will wait a few days to see how they address the issues. Cool TS. Didnt managed to get in game yet. Its based off Unreal4 game engine, so you are right gfx cant be as cool as the latest BF. Its also possible that level of details increase in the long run....

So what is your verdict after 3 hours?As you are from the Netherlands, you played on EU servers. Maybe other regions are not as good? Being a game from an European studio, I wonder if North American servers will be good and plenty....
