Getting maps and IWD's will be normal - you're getting the mod and the custom maps. If you're getting download issues, like some of us are, then that's something wrong with Activision and their god awful maintenance of the Master Server. Just keep trying to download them if it's giving you a download error. If you are getting an "impure client" error then that means that a map pack you have already downloaded is conflicting with one on the server. What I had to end up doing was deleting all my map packs and starting fresh. If you get impure clients, find the offending map pack and remove it. There isn't really all that much that can be done with the download speed. That is either our host OR activision's really bad master server.

Hey mark, if you want to have a quick look at some maps, drop me or Loader a PM and we can cycle through a bunch of maps on DM or TDM for you to have a look at, granted the servers are empty. Makes it faster than waiting 20 minutes for them to change

We're hoping to get the server populated around 4-5pm EST (about 9-10pm GMT) We are aware that there will be one map that will cause an issue but this is very easy to rectify. Follow this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 2\28\players\**your name** OR C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty 2\28\players\**your name** (for steam users) There will be a file called 'config_mp.cfg' Right click it, press Edit (should be able to open with notepad or wordpad. If not, download Notepad++ Once in there you need to search for: seta com_hunkMegs When you find this, set the number in the quotation marks to 512 It should then look like this: If there are any other issues, contact me or Loader and we'll set you straight!
