Beers has put many hours into setting up a COD4 game not so much for COD4 players as much as COD2 and COD5 players looking for something different and hundreds of new maps. Our primary COD4 server is Ace Mod, a mod which greatly improves the game through new weapons and other changes. But that server is set to run very fast and playing Ace Mod takes a lot of getting used to. Some just don't like that fast speed. And so, Rugger has OKd a version that runs at regular speed. The server is called Ace Mod Slow Version and it's linked on the home page but can be found at 192.223.27.209. Lots of members stopped by when it first launched and while Beers was in process of sizing the maps. That's done, and the server's ready to go. But few are playing on it because when they jump in, there's no one else home to play with. We need to kick start this server by setting up a day/time to meet on it and have some fun. That might get a core group playing regularly. So make a note to join Ace Mod Slow Version every Sunday starting at 8 a.m. If you're usually near the bottom of the list when the map's over in COD5, you'll find that Ace Mod Slow Version better equalizes play. Give it a try this coming Sunday. You'll like it!

Cyclic redundancy check means that the DVD drive can't read from the disc. It might be that the disc is scratched or maybe your DVD drive is failing. Try to copy the DVD content to the hard drive. If it copies, install from the hard drive. If you see the CRC error again you either need to replace the DVD or more likely, the disc is damaged and you'll need to borrow one to install with your registration no. Good luck.
