    Sammy, One more issue, if you are in the RCXD and drive in or around an enemy care package. The press F to steal package remains on screen after you come out of spawn protection. It doesn't go away until you die and respawn.

    Don't increase/decrease range. When you say set by the server, I am assuming you are thinking of other servers out there. We're running this mod on our server. Are you saying our server will set the range on a per map basis? What I mean to say is that it will give a rich user experience when you see a wave like animation around the EMP. Would not help anyone throw any better but the RCXDs would know where an EMP field exists. I believe people have plenty of defense against RCXDs now.

    I was thinking something along the lines of a pulsating circular wave originating from the EMP's location. It dies away when the EMP field expires...

    It's all that lard in our diet. You cut that out and buy a new graphics card your fps will jump to a considerably high number. So, like I said it's all about the fat.

    In high school i taught myself programming languages and used to do freelance web and system application development. Founded a software services company but then on persuasion of my parents I focused on college and had to dissolve my business. I am a computer engineer by schooling and specialize in embedded systems software and have been working in the Wireless communication industry (WiFi). I Have worked for different markets, wireless ISP, aviation sat com and inflight systems. Lately I work for a chip maker, if you have heard the term Snapdragon, well then you would know.

    I think forcing a weapon upon players or limiting the choices won't be very popular. For example, I could say let's make it tube only or SMAW only. Anyhow, my point is a 10 second UAV is minimally forcing though which is what makes it interesting and fair at the same time.
