  1. I hope Sammy is doing ok. there's an issue i noticed, the mod doesn't make me a sandwich.
  2. Why did we remove the new mod? Here's the deal. This game is fun when even the least skilled person can get a kill from a noob gun. When this mod was first loaded up in beta testing, it felt like real hardcore COD4MW, something players have been complaining about all along, since v1.46. Ever wonder why the oldest playerbase still reminisces about the ACR? All the updates that allow a player to heal, or wear protective armor make the game soft core. I appreciate the sentiment behind wanting to change, adding new dynamics, but you have to know your audience. NOOB GUN (Saritch, ACR etc...) Pros: - Everyone has equal opportunity to dominate - It's easy to get kills with low starting health of players - Less frustration with not getting kills, and hit marker reg issues - More run & gun style game play, this is what makes the game so lively Cons: - Easy to dominate, and the sore losers will whine a lot, A LOT, achuuuagnusuuuuu - Everyone uses the same gun most of the time - Strategy is mostly run & gun (wait this should be a pro, fixing that) - Other weapons are left for enthusiasts I liked the new mod for all its improvements and fixes on the v1.46, especially better hit registration. @Sammy, would you consider the following, just for shits and @Giggles: - Restore Saritch/SMR stats similar to v1.46 - Remove protection Perks to make room for other offensive perks (this evens as even the strongest players is easy kill) - Heist is excellent, It ruins the gameplay when abused in its first introduced form. I believe you have been tuning it since. - Restore Player Health stats similar to the base game's Hardcore mode - Put the RCXD back, make it 4 kills if you think it's too easy to get Please understand this, when the weakest player in the game feels like he can get kills and earn kill streaks without employing any special tactics, you've achieved success. It's an easy game, there is no point in making it harder or more tactful, its not supposed to be like BF4, or ARMA. Which is not to say the backporting of the weapons, streaks from new versions of the game is not welcome. We love it. New AGM, new helicopter what have you bring it on. New perks, why not. On a side note, have you considered removing some of the perks, streaks to make the mod stable for more players. Can we support, say, 40 players?. I think that is bigger issue to address than any with the game at this moment. If you only care that people should enjoy what you want them to enjoy then thank you for reading this far and disregard everything I said. On the other hand, why not give it a shot... If you like I can learn the code and spend some time making the adjustments, this is a sincere offer. I already feel bad for making this post, because I can only imagine how many man hours you put in this. Please consider, I hate to see v1.47 being scrapped when it could've so easily been made fun. I won't lie, I did not enjoy the game anymore with the fair and balancing err... nerfing of the guns.

  5. Do you mean Sonic Boom? I meant... like a Perk where your SMAW, Tube, RPG fucks up the Trophy system or Flak jacket. Right now it would take 4-5 tubes to blow up someone with Flak Jacket. I think its a fair trade off, that I give up a perk to get more Oomph out of my boOooOoooom ?.

  7. Heist IMHO, Heist would be Heist if its being stolen from someone alive. It's easy to steal from a frozen, defenseless enemy. Feels more like COD version of rape, you just sit there and helplessly watch it happen. Make it so you have to sneak up to an enemy to a certain close proximity for 1-2 seconds stealing their killstreaks. Then, perhaps you don't lose your stolen KS even if you get killed. Or you know what, make it so that if you have the Heist perk, and you're frozen others can't Heist you, how about that? Kill Power I don't understand why there is so much bias against offensive weapons and kill power. RCXDs are too powerful, tubes kill too easily, blah blah. Trophy system is excellent, albeit somewhat OP. It's still sensible than that OP flak jacket. How about a perk that makes explosive Inventory weapons deadly even against Trophy and flak jackets? Why isn't there any thought towards balancing it out that way? The SMR was great when you first launched v1.47, hardcore felt like hardcore no more BS of multiple hit markers. Pistols are nerfed. Close range Deagle shot only gave me a X, its a fucking .50 cal at approx 20ft. You can say they were wearing armor, I cannot prove otherwise, but I do not think people put even put on armor anymore. Multipurpose If we optimize the killstreaks, get 2-in-1 functionality you can make room for more stuff. I just don't get why in the name or fairness and balances do we keep nerfing things. I still haven't gotten a reasonable answer about what was so wrong about being able to defrost from a predator/paveway, slow the rate of defrost. Yes you have a defroster UAV which is more efficient at it, and that's what makes it more desirable. Why are we trying to make this game so binary, you either choose to be a defroster or strictly only a killer the middle ground is simply vanishing. You cannot even run and gun much because your killstreaks don't stay. Yes, I do remember the days when we only had 1 slot for killstreak. Now, what's even the point when they can be so easily taken from you. Here's the simply truth as I see it, this is not a tactical game. Majority of the server population comprises of gamers who are really not as good as they think. People have improved significantly but many of them still don't pay attention. I am barely average and have shitty aim that's why I use tubes. Killstreaks are instant gratification and that dopamine drip has worked really well. I hope I don't sound ungrateful as I only mentioned, what appear to be, thoughts/opinions with a negative tint. This was a much needed refresher mod on this aging game.

  9. That’s what’s it’s leading to, fewer players are venturing out because most others are starting to use Heist. It’s fun but like hardline it’s going to become the most used perk.
  10. I was making a funny. But I am curious, what really is Soo bad about being able to enter kill streak with a slight feet lift at the last second. If the car is over powered at two kills, make it 4/3(Hardline). Separating RC functions is a regression IMO. Why does it have to be the same as sentries? Actually, now that you mention it, why don't you merge them too. 8-kill multi function sentry gun or sentry made. Sentry nade only kills and sentry gun does both, defrost and kill, except it has less range. You already made the car slower, there's trophy system to balance things out. Also, speaking of fairness then artillery hogs the airspace for 30 seconds, covers a wider range of the map, requires a special defensive weapon to counter, shakes your entire screen, easily available at 6/5 kills. Make it 8 kills or at least the same as an air strike, no¿

Sammy, the novelty of the separate RCs has worn off, could you please bring back the single RC. also, since now people have been stealing my kill streaks when i die in their spawn it's only fair that i have a way to protect myself while turning in to a kill streak. Please bring back the ability to turn in to kill streak mid jump. I so deeply regret sharing these exploits. Had I kept my mouth shut we could've been enjoying defrosting while in predator other things you killed. Sob sob. Fuck fairness and openness.
  13. Also, take out the SAM Turret if the Trophy System protects against AS and predators as well. Make room for other things?
  14. Also, we dont' need a WebEx or Zoom meeting, a simple poll would suffice. I strongly discourage enabling FF. Yes it adds a dynamic but it will create more work for admins to police people who are abusing team kills. One map, someone pawned the other player, next game they join the other player's team and keep team killing them, see where this is going? Hardline with Tube still doesn't work... here's a video.

  18. @Sammy tube kills do not count towards kill streaks in Hardline. I have not treated without Hardline.
  19. @Sammy please disable it. I don't recall anyone asking for it. The novelty of it wore of pretty quick. It would've been ok if you didn't get penalized and the dead teammate didnt stay frozen.
  20. @azzkikr RCXD the explosive kind cannot be shot once its EMP'ed Rate of fire on Saritch is slow Hardline is hit and miss or at least feels that way The EMP defrost shimmer effect is nice but the sound effect is too extravagant (@Twinklestorm's word), and just unnecessary Is the team voice chat proximity bound like the enemy voice chat in Hardwired? Some players mentioned my voice going up and down, other than my Noise cancellation kicking in I can't think of anything else Can we just have #1 multi-purpose RCXD as opposed to the two different ones? I feel we're being punished for finding creative ways to optimize gameplay. Just like we can't defrost from Predators, AGMs, and Paveways Could we have that turning in to Killstreak while mid-air back? It really added a dynamic that made the gameplay more robust, yes yes I know but try it with me some time Observations: Thank God real Hardcore is back, the pussification of the previous mod was almost unbearable Hit registration is really good at this point in time Notification sound of hit markers X was rather a pleasant effect in v1.46 Love the discouraging red screen for 333'ers, suck on them tiddies
