I built mine in 2013 (and others with/for my children later). My one advice is to choose high end parts, even if it's expensive at first because, in the long run, it's money saving. My computer still perfectly works and is quite powerful. I only change the GPU (for a Gigabyte GTX 1080) at the end of 2016 and add a SSD 2To in June 2021. It's not the case, of course, if you always want to be at the edge of the PC technology... But is it really useful depending on your needs?

Don't know if it's because of the new map rotation but I downloaded a new map, started to play and got an error (had not enough time to read the kind of error) after several minutes playing. Now I have no ping for this server hence I have a ping for server 147 and others. Has someone a clue about what happened? Thanks in advance

U are right but as I don't live in the "pampa" but in Paris area, there are no lost of power requiring an AVR (and I don't run a server, it's only for my PC and monitor). The protection against surge suffices. It is the case anywhere else in urban areas, I suppose.
