I am no fan of iTunes either. My stepdaughter had an ipod and needed music put on it and found itunes to be terrible to use, not to mention slow. I personally stay away from Apple products.

I have never been in that kind of situation and hope I never am. Would not be pleasant to say the least to come to that sort of decision. However, I have to agree with other here that if one was to plan that type of trip which is not just for your daily camper, you'd think he'd have skills and the mind to bury your garbage, hang your food, etc and live off the land without having to eat 'man's best friend' and in his case, his savior. Glad he is ok but I feel more badly for the dog. I love my dogs and don't think I could ever look at them as food. -
