    I'd recommend you to use WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics (the DOS version) to test it again and check up on the health and SMART status there. The DOS version of the utility will allow you to perform the diagnostics without booting into any OS. You should be able to find it under Downloads by Product once you select WD Caviar Blue.
