Wonder if I can upgrade from Win 7?I have ALOT of p0rn0 on my hdd that I would hate to loose.

I may be reinstalling Windows 8.It is quite a bit faster than Windows 7. There are some Mods for it that give you back the desktop features like windows 7 has.I've had Windows 8 installed on a small spare 64gig SSD for a few months.

Chris CTRL+ALT+ Del and end task on all Rivatuner services and try uninstalling it again.If that doesn't work then type in MSconfig in the start menu and tell it not to load rivatuner at startup and restart your PC. Program is in use most likely. MSI afterburner OSD doesn't play nice with punkbuster either. Looks like everything that works in Firefox will work in Waterfox.There is bound to be a couple things that won't but they claim most aps and scripts work fine. Ive tested a few scripts on it allready and seems to be compatable with all of mine so far. Flash Player has a couple hick ups with it though.That's the only thing that I've found so far that doesn't like Waterfox.Adobe programs piss me off anyway.They need to Update they're junk more often.

The 970 chipset is a little finicky when it comes to 4gb sticks. If it blue screens with the memory set at 1333mhz at 9-9-9-24 you are going to have to re-seat your cpu.Don't know what it is with the 970 chipset but many people had the same problems.Mine did this with 4x4gb Gskill RipJaws X DDR3 1600 and after reseating the cpu Twice it took my timings and has been working flawless. I had a AMD Phenom 2 X4 965 3.4ghz OCed to 4.3ghz water cooled in it for a few months and upgraded to one of the AMD FX-8120 8 core cpus OCed to a modest 3.8ghz water cooled with a Corsiar H60 water cooler.The temps stay around 38-42 running 4 instances of prime95+. I'm not a big fan of the new Unified bios but it seems to do the job.
