You got a 2080? Damn you lol. I'm running a RX580 4G. It's not bad for what I paid for it. Bought it "slightly used" for $100. I get 125-145fps with it in Arma 3 and DayZ Standalone. Good enough for me.

AMD Wattman is a fucking joke. I've had problems with that damn thing on with "new" drivers for years with about 1/2 of the drivers AMD releases. I'm currently running the Minimal driver install without Radeon Settings and none of the other crap. And I'm using MSI Afterburner to slightly overclock and control the fans. Download this and run it to clean all of the junk left behind from previous driver installs. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html And use This AMD driver for Win 10 64. Never EVER use the "Optional" driver. Your better off using a slightly older driver when it comes to AMD. Let it stew for a couple of months. https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/win10-64bit-radeon-software-adrenalin-2019-edition-19.9.2-sep23.exe Better yet use a driver that IRL people have tested and reported to be good from here. I Scan crap with ESET-NOD32 on my other PC before installing anything on my main PC and it flagged. Only reason it flagged is because it has a link to a potentially malicious URL programed into it. But that URL is dead. I'm very cautious when downloading crap. Better to be safe than sorry eh? Hey I haven't had to reformat my junk in 5 years doing it that way. I blame @AthenA That punk is playing COD5 now I haven't played Acemod in a couple months. I've been IRL busy. When I do have free time I try to stop in and play freezetag. Acemod server is always empty in the evenings for me.

what the actual fuck? And 12gb of memory? ok I'm calling BS on the memory. There is No game out there that can possibly use more than 3-4gb max. Even if you could possibly run it at 4k you wouldn't get any where near 6gb let alone 12gb. I've seen a couple Browser based games a few years ago that would use upwards of 5gb. But that's a very poorly optimized game with a serious memory leak + browser + the anti cheat + the goofy updater service + the built in VOIP all running at the same time. Remember when BF2 came out and it had that nasty memory leak? The longer that you played the more memory it would use. People were complaining because it would easily use as much as 3.2gb before crashing there computers with Out of Memory Errors. That was a big shit storm because the max memory that XP could use at once was 3.25gb with a max limit of 4gb installed in the motherboard.
