Hey XI Community, I've been playing on FreezeTag Chicago(something like that, its in favorites). Its my favorite server to play on so I decided I mine as well make an account here. I probably won't be very active in the forums, but you will probably see me in game as Im already participating in a mass amount of forums as it is lol.. Anyways, I just tell you a little bit about me. I'm a pretty active modder, I started out on the 360. However, I quickly became bored with the limited access they give you. So I sold my Jtag and most of my 360's and moved onto PC. I started out on AiW(not for piracy reasons) and played around with different mods. I also developed quite a bit of servers over the past few years such as RuneScape, MineCraft, WoW, and AiW servers. That's where most of my coding expierence came from anyways(med coder). After AiW died a couple weeks ago I purchased a PC copy of CoD4 and well here I am.

I wanted to say I enjoy your servers and especially the fact that I experience minimal to no lag at all. I do live in Wi, which luckily is near Chicago where I assume its hosted. As I'm typing this I'm waiting for a spot to open up lol. Currently I'm trying to get into making YouTube videos and if Its not a problem make videos of XI server gameplay.
Well that's all for now, hope my post wasn't boring if you read it. And for the hell if it, lets see how many people are just post boosting. So if you actually read the post put a XI at the beginning of your post. Saw this on another forum and it was funny, half the people only posted "welcome to ****".

    Thanks for reading.

Why do they always rip you off in your lottery draws...winner can opt to recieve the full sum over 26 years(WTF) at $24 million a year (what happens if you die after say 2 years?) or 1 lump sum of $460 million (is that taxed?) don't seem right to me when the total was actually $640 million, if you take the lump sum what happens to the other $180 million...it stinks

Back ground info on the story. A boy accidentaly kills someone and is scared and runs away. He meets with a group of people and the "other chapter" is in a town they travel to. He grows up and is telling his story to a bunch of bar patrons years later.

    Running Away

“You don’t understand, sir. I was running for my life! Young confused…….I didn’t……”
“There you go again old man.” Interrupted Jakob. “ You talk as if you were there.”
‘Quiet Jakob. Let him talk.” Threatened the Page’s son.
“Yes. I’m sorry but I’ve told these stories so many times they seem real to me. I slip off into the memories. But alas my friend. He didn’t know where to go, what to do.” Graf continued as a tear slipped down his cheek. “He was running as fast as a child could run away from the sound of the hunting dogs.”
“Blindly fleeing deeper into the forest, he crested a small ridge when a bush, yes a bush……” he Held up a palm to the astonished gasp of the small lad “jumped up and grabbed him.”
I was simply scared and quickly overpowered by the leafy beast, and a beast it was! I looked into the eyes as a tan cloth covered my face. The cinnamon smell caused a calmness to overcome me. My eyes blurred in and out. I saw the movement of many of these living bushes moving about flinging a powder about the ground.
“ A powder, sir?” inquired the lad. “ Yes, I believe so. But that was when I lost my senses.”
The boys eyes widened as he asked “Did you die?” drawing a few laughs and smiles from across the room.
“Hummmm. Interesting question, boy. But if I died would I be here telling the story?”
“Oh.” He managed, slumping his shoulders in an embarrassed response.
“Sit straight son! Do not loose your pride over something as meaningless as an unthought question!” I paused a minute to take a bite of my meal.
“ Continue, sir!” came a cry from the back of the room.
“Yes, please continue Graf.” Yelled Bombadil from behind the counter. “You always seem to cause good business!"
“Time! Time for an old man to collect his thoughts. No, son, I didn’t die. I woke up as the sun peeked over the hills to the east. I had no idea where I was. The surrounding area was unfamiliar to me. I could smell a fire and could hear a low mumbled conversation some distance a way.
“ I was afraid to move even though I was unbound.” After a time of listening and observing what I could, I chose to slowly roll over trying to see more.
“ He’s awake Cly. Get Kreiger. Up, boy. Time to eat.” He said with a tap to my foot. Shyly I rose, unsure of my surroundings and unsure of my destiny. Shuffling toward the small campfire, I took note of the surroundings and group of men around me.
Three men were here. One tending the pan on the fire and two on watch. As I approached the fire, the man scooped out some eggs and a piece of meat onto a wooden plate and said “Eat up, son. We be havin’ a long trek ahead.”
I took the plate with a feeling of impending doom, knowing they were going to take me back to the castle. Back to my death.
As I ate a tall man with short cropped red hair approached. He took a plate with a small pile of eggs and sat beside me.
He said nothing for a while, then asked where I was headed to. I thought for a second and said nowhere in particular. He sat for a while more, thinking deeply about something and stated ”You’re a free man but them guys was after you for a good reason. You can go with us for a while but you’ll have to earn your keep.”
I accepted my good fortune as it was. No questions asked. As we traveled, I got the feeling that we were purposely avoiding roads and populated areas. We kept fed by hunting and berry picking plus a little dried traveling foods that Kreiger and the others already had stored. We were on a seldom used trail along side a small brook that was flowing from the mountains.
Off and on through the journey different men would ride up and speak in hushed tones to Polo or Kell. The men would then disappear back into the forest while Polo or Kell would leave for an hour or two then return. I figured it was a type of lookout or communication system.
Once, while traveling up a valley, we stopped to camp at the base of a big mountain. I could see smoke from a distant village and could oft times smell bread cooking, making me very hungry. Later that day everyone left except me and Bur. Bur looked quite nervous and kept looking around as if to see something. We didn’t start a fire that day, but had dried fruits and meat to eat.
Just before dark, Cly came running into camp ordering us to pack up. Bur jumped and grabbed everything and started to throw it all in a sack. Cly started saddling the rest of the horses.
Cly told me to get on a horse and head northward deeper into the mountains. He said to there was a small cave near the small fork in the stream and to wait there. It would be a hard days ride and I would get there about noon on the next day. I left leading two pack horses that had most of the gear on them.
As I rode I couldn’t help but think about what had happened that would cause such concern on Cly’s face as he bid me farewell.
There were many deer and a few elk around and I decided to take a break from riding about sun-up when I saw a small elk knee-deep in the creek. I slipped my bow off my shoulder and nocked an arrow. I pulled back and aimed slowly as Uncle Spar had taught me. A deep breath and release caused the arrow to fly true. Hitting the young elk high on the shoulder. It jumped up and down, thrashed around a bit before finally limping to dry land. It wasn’t dead so I readied another arrow and shot again, this time from a closer range. The elk took two steps and fell dead. I wanted to whoop it up a bit but remembered the look on Cly’s face.
I approached the elk after tying up the horses and looked about for a strong tree. I found one close to the trail but hidden enough for me to take enough time to clean my kill. It wasn’t a big elk but I still had trouble hoisting it up high enough to make cleaning it easier.
When I was almost done, I heard a twig snap. I jerked my head up and saw the source of the sound.

    Another chapter

I looked around at the way the patrons had speedily cleared the floor optomistic of things to come. The heavily planked tables upended, legs against the walls. Makeshift barriers for them to hide behind. I knew it wasn't the first time they had watched a fight from behind those stout ramparts.
The one called Brute already had his sword out. No longer than an average blade but much wider. Heavy and well notched. A blade made for hard hacking swings, not defense or parrying. A weapon suited to his large build, and a name to fit. Brute.
Kreiger grabbed my arm and placed the hilt of his longsword into my hand. Smaller than the one Brute had but still too heavy for me. "Kreiger! I can't fight with this! It's too heavy! I can't swing it!"
From the sound behind me, I knew I had no real choice. Defend or die. The deep grunt had given away Brute's surprse attack. I spun and lunged to the side as the fat sword sliced the air where my head was a moment ago. The heft of the sword would have carried a normal man across the room but the scarred Brute was no nrmal man. He recovered quite easily in the manner that marks a fighter as untrained but experienced.
I raised Kreiger's heavy longsword above my head and swung down and to the right to intercept Brute's forceful thrust. Myglancing blow barely caused a shift of momentum in the arc of the offending blade. A few more attacks like this would make short work of the feeble defenses I put up.
Trying to attack was nearly impossible. I couldn't regain my balance and composure quick enough to properly defend much less launch an attack. "I can't fight with this!" I pleaded. 'it's too big!"
"Then don't. Use what you feel you can use best."
An idea formed in my head. I jumped across the floor, spun and threw Kreiger's sword at Brute causing him to duck down to one knee as he knocked the spinning blade easily aside. He watched the blade bounce to the far side of the room as I pulled out my shortsword and dagger. I breathed deeply knowing the bet was to the death. A young boy greatly outmatched in size and strength by the hulking Brute.
Kreiger set me up to die? No he always had a reason for the things he did. He always talked of unforeseen advantages.what were they in this circumstance?
I avoided a crushing sideswipe by catching his sword in my crossed weapons allowing the force of the blow to push me backwards. The lack of resistance to the monstrous blow caused Brute to over extend. I quickly spun with a raking motion low to his leg and a hard stabbing poke to the shoulder. An audible grunt of surprise and pain allowed a slight victory to the damage done. Not much mind you but enough to bolster the hope that my unseen advantages, speed and agility, could overcome the strenth and experience possessed by my unspeaking opponent.
He stood up, backing away ,listening to the cheers and taunts of the crowdas the bet-masters quickly recalculated the odds. Reformulating his attck plans took Brute only a second or two as he ressessed me.
Gripping the long handle of his sword tightly with both hands signaled a hard fast rush was coming. He raised the massive sword and charged. Expecting me to block and twist the way I had been doing was his undoing. He never realized what was happening until it was too late.
Anticipating his attack and judging his speed allowed me to jump inside his attack. I hook his arm with mine andand spun up on his back causing him to become top heavy and tumble face first into the floor. As we landed, I stabbed at his elbow pinning it to the floor with my dagger.
Defending himself by clutching his sword in his off-hand, he rolled on to his side as he swung only to aknowledge the seriousness of the predicament he was in.

Too many minor grammatical errors to list - you'll need an editor to go through your manuscript before you submit it.

You write very well. There is a nice flow and construction to your prose with good use of adjectives - but not overuse. I've read much published work that is not as captivating and appealing. You appear to have a nice story line going and obviously have outlined these chapters and have done a very good job of fleshing them out. An editor will suggest some mior style rewrite but all-in-all, this shows great promise and if the entire book is as well done, I'd say you'll have no trouble finding a publisher. The genre is certainly popular.

    Good luck!

I say she was just taking her competitive nature way to far and if that is the way she reacts when something like that happens she has some serious anger issues. In any sport you are going to get tripped, kicked or so on and that is part of it, but you never grab a girl by the hair and attempt to beat her down during the game. That is way wrong. In basketball I was knocked on my ass many times by other girls, but I also did the same. It is a game and we all shook hands afterwards and went on. My point to this whole thing is anyone that goes that far because of something like that has other issues. It does not matter what race they are actions like that come from other issues. She may have been thinking the ball was her boyfriends head for all we know and when she fell the girl beside her was the reason they broke up! Who knows.
