load your disc,,then you will need to install all the patches,,we have them on the forums under downloads,,,yes do them all in order,,reboot comp after each one,,,sometimes it does not register until you do this. Are you windows 10 or 7 and are you running through steam? if you are install there and it will update it all for you -
yes unplug it,,when you turn it back on look at what is loaded,,run every anti whatever program you have,,you may have a bug

call your provider and say look im paying good money FIX IT,,lol tell them you cant connect at certain times..and have you checked at diff times of day,,provider do throtle a lot latly bastards..lol but dont tell them itd for gaming,,tell them you check the pings and they are horrible
