  4. My favorite of all time was something like this: "Yes, I was hacking but I'm very sorry. Can I join your clan now?"
  5. I'm sorry. I laughed so hard at this article.
  6. I will never forget that day. I remember that Bama and I were watching television and saw the reports of the first plane. We were wondering how such an accident could happen. Then I recall the feeling of fear and helplessness as we watched the 2nd plane hit live. Our hearts sank as we knew then that this was no accident. We looked at each other in stunned disbelief. I recall the feeling that I HAD to go get my children from school as I thought we should all be together. No one knew exactly what was going to happen. I was so scared. I reported the events to the staff at school. They had no idea what was happening. When I spoke to one teacher and explained why I was taking my child from her class, she first thought I was overreacting. As I explained further, her face changed and tears welled up in her eyes. I took the children home and all six of us (we had custody of our niece and nephew at the time) knelt in our family room and prayed. I remember that the skies were empty for a while but I can't recall how long it was before planes could fly again. I see and hear planes a lot but not nearly as much as a lot of people do. I'd be interested to hear what it was like for people who work at airlines or who live near major airports.
  7. Yay! I'm so happy for all of you! I want to see the picture though. Come on. There's no reason not to post it.
  8. Thank you all for the warm wishes. We are truly blessed. It just keeps getting better.
  9. On September 8, 1990, I married my best friend. It's been 23 years and he's still the man of my dreams. I still get butterflies when he walks into the room and the sound of his voice on the other end of the phone saying "Hey Baby" turns me into a giddy 16 year old girl again. I don't know why he chose me but he did. I'm the luckiest woman on the planet and I'm so honored to be his wife. Here's a look back through the years. Sorry there's so many pictures. It was hard to narrow down to just these. 23 years = a LOT of pictures.
  10. I LOVE college football!!! Today is a big rivalry game for my team. It's always important to me especially because we live in a border town at the SC/Georgia line and, well, the opposing team's fans are the worst in the country. It's a big deal here and we have something called Border Bash which is a festival of sorts and includes the team mascots and cheerleaders. Not only is this a rivalry, it's a huge conference game. In recent years, SC and GA have battled for the SEC East conference championship. Starting at 4:30 pm EST, you will hear me yelling at the tv and hopefully crowing like a rooster. What games are you watching today? Who are you pulling for? As for me, I'm a COCK LOVER!!!!!!
  11. Doctors are "practicing" medicine and just because you got this devastating news, it does not mean you have one foot in the ground. You serve the Great Physician and I've seen Him do incredible things in people. You have already overcome so much and you are more than a conqueror. It's easy for us to let news such as this get us down but I sense a bit of stubbornness in you somewhere and I hope that you can channel that stubbornness into not giving up but overcoming this obstacle. Big hugs to you Dean. You are such a bright spot for so many people and we love you dearly. You're a good man and I am blessed to call you friend.
  12. Thanks guys.
  13. That's wonderful! I'm excited for all of you and I can't wait to hear all about it. Take lots of pictures. Good luck and safe travels to them.
  14. Congratulations!!! Hope y'all continue to have a lifetime of love and happiness. Be blessed!
  15. I also want one of these https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=506522182727032&set=pb.454743741238210.-2207520000.1378119334.&type=3&theater and one of these http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/variable-voltage-devices/kits/varivolt-build-your-own-kit-product.html
  16. Cobra: If you get a good quality e-cig and the right juice, I promise you will not want a cigarette. I've been cigarette free for 4 years and 3 months. I thought I'd never be able to quit. I tried every method and nothing did it for me. If I had to go more than a couple of hours without a cigarette, I was climbing the walls. I'm still addicted to nicotine but I don't have bad cravings anymore. The e-liquid is sooooo much better. Now I can't stand to be around smokers. As for flavors, everyone likes different ones. I consistently vape Johnson's Creek Espresso but sometimes use some of their Tennessee Cured. Their original flavor is very nice too. Occasionally, I'll vape some Totally Wicked Coffee or Ruyan4. Both of those are awesome when mixed with the JC Espresso. I like these clearos http://www.crazyvapors.com/shop/iclear-16-dual-coil-clearomizer/ and Bama likes these http://www.crazyvapors.com/shop/ce5-clearomizer/
  17. Love the contemporary stuff!! Who says church is boring?
