I still have the jacket with my patches on it but my adult son wears it sometimes and it still fits. Those pants were what the troops in Rhodesia wore and I found then at a surplus store and they were different then anyone else's so I got them to be unique. We were sponsored by RP Scherer and Oakley, Scherer sent us cases of paintballs and Oakley provided our goggles and face shields and gear bags and knee and elbow pads. I found wearing knee pads at the top of my calf's under my pants made dropping quickly to a kneeling position kept my knees good. I was a wingman on our team on the right side so my job was to sprint as fast up the field along the edge to get past mid-field until I took fire then to hold that edge and wait for reinforcements but no one got by me to try to flank us. Funny story when I moved to North Carolina I found a field with a team that played in the woods and after 2 weeks of games I asked them what it took to join them they weren't that good. They said go out solo on the field and in 5 minutes they sent 3 guys out to find me and if I stayed alive for 3 minutes after the first shot I was on the team. If you look close that gun in the picture had a silencer on it (Illegal) but still cool. I found a hiding spot up in a deer blind that had blue tarp walls and watched all 3 walk down the same trail not more then 15 feet apart, no spread or fanned out just walking like they were on a hike. I slid the silencer on and shot the last guy in line then the front guy then the middle guy in about 20 seconds and walked back to the truck. They tried to tell me I was supposed to run and I said that's why you guys suck if you kill the other team you don't need to run. 1st year we went to State championship tourney we placed last about a month after I joined. The next year after I had a chance to teach them some tactics and gave guys defined roles we won the North Carolina State Championship going unbeaten in all 6 matches best 2 out of 3 over 2 days. During the fall games I wore US desert pattern our troops wore and laying in the leaves and bush I had guys walk within 5 feet of me going towards our flag and after they passed I picked off 6 guys before someone came from my right and got me but we still won. Nothing more fun than capturing a flag when the other team is all dead lmao. Enjoy your new marker how far do they shoot now? In my day you were lucky if you could shoot 150 feet with some loft on your shot to hold someone down while others attacked, like lobbing in mortars. We laid down a ton of paint since it was free during games we played even if it was just a pickup game for shits and grins. Last time I played was about 15 years ago with my son and he was on my team and I had the flag (Red Towel) around my neck as we were eliminating the other team when I got whacked 4 times from my right only to find out it was my son shooting me because he saw red and said "No one on our team was wearing red" we still won but he will never live that down in fact tonight I am going to give him shit about it again Thanks for the good memories your post brought back. I would hope you can shoot at least 250 feet or more in a sniper game. Some guys wore ghillie suits on other teams but they stopped it because it was to hard for judges the find where they had been hit because guys would wipe it off before the ref checked them.

I played a ton of paintball in the late 1980's in Southern California on a 25 man team called "Havoc" and our best fastest player wore a old business suit when he played he didn't hide from anyone lol. We placed 2nd to Navarone after beating the Fighting 69th in the desert in a early spring tourny in 1987 and this event was the reason I bought a Enforcer constant air hopper fed pump marker made by Gramps of Granps and Grizz fame after using two Nelson 12 gram 10 round pistol markers for a few years. I had a regular hip holster plus I kept one in a shoulder holster so if my main pistol ran out of air/co2 most of the time you got rushed because changing a cartridge took a little time. But my freshly loaded backup marker was active within 3 seconds tops I carried a back up even with constant CO2 because if you broke a ball or something else went tits up I had a plan. I played until 1989 in the LA So Cal region and members of the team I played on became "The Black Diamonds" who won countless tourneys and championships. We played in the woods or on Movie Sets like the A-Teams old war zone set in the hills or in Malibu. I could tell you some very cool Paintball stories and I wish I was a younger man but you will have a ton of fun and Nice Gun Dude. Keep in Mind this was before blowup toys were on a field we played in the trees and bushes and rocks where many old westerns were filmed.

What??? are you asking about the motion sickness/dizzyness I get? If so yes I got it with COD4 as well but I prefer to play games that are based on History with Maps and such based on real events and I am a WWII history buff so COD4 with the modern weapons didn't catch my interest. I know that the Mods we run now don't reflect how the weapons originally were designed but the action is off the hook. When games move on 3 axis with your weapon bouncing up and down as you run seems to be what brings on the spinning room and sweats I would get after playing for sometime and getting into it. With COD2 when you run your gun moves out of frame and it runs on 2 axis so I don't have any issues. I fear most FPS games in the future will be games I can't play. Thanks for asking

I wasn't trying to butt in to your server business, I was just trying to show support for a successful group in the clan that seems to have a good/bad problem. It seems a shame to have to turn away players who wish to play on a crowded server but it sounds like you have gone thru this before and know what you are doing to address the situation for the good of as many as you can serve at a given time. These days it is nice to see that with all the gaming options we now offer to our Clan members and Guests that we still have Servers that are so sweet to play on that they are full and we have maxed out the capacity of what we can offer. We ran a couple of COD2 "DM" servers for a similar reason back in 2006 but the tech options we had were nothing compared to today. LABOB is much smarter than I am about most things and if he says it can't be worked around I feel like a putz. Again I apologize if sticking my nose in but it was a offer of support for growth in areas where demand is so high. We do everything we can to keep those few oldtimers who still enjoy the game we were founded around so I can't remember when we were packed until this past weekend. I don't play this game not for lack of trying but the graphics axis makes me motion sick, don't ask me to explain but if we have a server and game style and core group of players that seem to enjoy each other like this can't we find a way to add slots? I would think if it is possible to add say another 6 to 8 slots would allow everyone to enjoy it when it is packed without having to wait for a opening? In COD2 there are servers that handle up to 64 players, I can remember the days on the COD2 servers when my X-fire would ping off the hook from members asking me to boot non-members to open spots for our Clan Members. Now that X-Fire is gone that means finding a Admin on Team-Speak to make a opening because I assume that like in days past we always give members a space to play, just one of the many perks of being in XI. Just a thought but full servers are a blessing not a reason to limit playing time or is it that the game or Mod won't handle that sort of traffic?

Did they do a blood draw on you while you were in custody? If not then you have zero to worry about because they have zero proof unless the officer who arrested you is a officer trained in impairment recognition which makes them a professional witness and his opinion is considered evidence in a court of law where there are such trained officers. Also from what I have learned to properly administer the test they are supposed to use a object like a pen or flashlight for the suspect to follow not their finger and it should be 12 to 18 inches from your eyes but it is a test that is somewhat suspect because it is your word against a officers. In my State they use this test mostly for Weed since it stays in your body longer and as you said they gave you a breathalizer test. Sounds like you will not have to worry if they didn't draw blood which would lock up their case if you really had something illegal in your system. Good news is it wasn't while you were in your car which could affect your driving privileges, plus I doubt you will be getting a tip from the folks waiting for their doordash order. Oh BTW do you have anyone you know that has it out for you? If you end up in court you have the right to subpoena them to appear in court so you can find out who is fucking with you and also the actual call in to the police. Can we also maybe get Poker Player medals like we have for Blackjack and maybe a "Top Dog" medal for the leader each month or so unless it is the same player?

I don't have a suggestion about achievement but I do notice that it takes a lot of time to play each hand because there is zero limit to the number of raise's a player can make with each round of betting so I see a lot of small raises from players that later fold in the same round of betting. While I don't mind playing for my whole chip stack it seems some just have zero clue and are hoping to hit a winning hand rather than playing good cards. Can there maybe be a 2 raise limit per player per round of betting so we don't spend 3 minutes getting 200,000 bumps of the pot by people who really shouldn't be in the hand? With the limit on the number of bets not the amount it will add another level of strategy to your game. If I have a good hand I don't need to worry about my betting giving anyone a heads up because by the time it becomes my turn to bet 5 or so players will have raised the pot just for the hell of it. Just a idea and might enable people to play more hands per session when they are logged in... Thanks Again and Happy New Year.

Hey how about that, made the top 10 a few times and my balance is going up each time, that's how you play Poker don't lose chips and find the right tables. Some of these players seem to raise just to raise. When they get to the end of the hand they fold or have complete shit most of the time. Problem is which times are they being morons and playing BINGO POKER. But I have fun most of the time. thanks Luckyriver for setting this up, but 1 question these players are not just from XI we play with correct?

His laugh was so fun to hear back in the beginning when so many of us were trying to win or move up the ladder he was always so chill. The fact that we both enjoyed the best herb grown by man helped us bond right away. It is because of folks like him that this Clan is built on such a solid foundation. Yeah since we live less than 2 miles from ground zero here in the USA. We live near Life Center In Kirkland Wa where the first outbreak happened back in late Feb. early March and then the traffic accident in late Oct. where I was the middle car in a 3 vehicle crash that messed up my neck and back something fierce. Just gotta keep plugging along but with no work for the next 10 days will make for a very bleak Christmas in our house.

Well my adult son who lives with us and is a CNA at a arthritis clinic and came home today after testing positive for Covid-19. He has zero symptoms but because he is positive I had to get tested my wife got tested and we have to stay home for 7 days. I had this shit in March, That dude in charge at the white house said I can't get it again but the people who pay my salary say different and that "The test is free crap is a hoax because they asked for my insurance card info. Got to wait 2 to 3 days for results so not going anywhere until after Christmas.

I just asked Loader because a few of us were playing and changing weapons to find a combo that worked for each players style. Noticed most guys picked up the heavy machine gun since it sprayed a ton of lead and with the slower speeds it didn't hold them back as much. The mix of game types is great and please don't take my question as a sign of disrespect or that I know better or more. I was just relaying what I saw and heard during the games. If Dirk says the shot guns a low powered that just means he was to take two swings to bash someone but he was bashing a ton on the smaller maps, so I advise everyone who has been away for a while to tighten the helmet chin straps

Is it going to be "Stock Weapons" like it is this weekend? I don't think I Have ever played a XI COD2 server with stock settings, weapons, gravity etc...
