    yea i got that error b4 i would try a windows install but use the repair so u dont lose data...now if u do that and still get the error its a harddrive failure error which in my case it was i had to buy new HD and reinstall everything again and the other HD was unreadable even thru Kickn first suggestion so if i were u id be prepared to buy another HD and install new wind on it sorry bud best suggestions and i also am PC tech .....

    you could always use x padder all u do is config ur control buttons to correspondin keyboard controls should work that u usually have to pay for it but if u keep lookin and diggin u can find a free one i did to use with my dreamcast emulator works great
