  1. Making a large pepperoni pizza for ~$2.25
  2. I was gonna say, somebody call security.
  3. Minus the egg for me, looks great. This pizza here, I made with bread flour this time, instead of all-purpose. Much chewier crust. I bake it at ~550 F on the top rack for about 4 minutes, then I rotate it 180 degrees and move it to the bottom rack, for 2 more minutes, with the bottom broiler element turned on to crisp the bottom. I use a pizza screen to bake, instead of a pizza pan or steel or stone.
  4. looks good. except for the egg. is that an egg?
  5. Love me some homemade pizza!
  6. Sure, being a good leader is important. As is any other position in a company or team. Getting a job, maintaining a secure position, being promoted; it's all up to the potential employee to bring a skill set that an organization will value. And to build upon it. A good attitude should be a given, regardless of the nature of the job. Yet there are many I've encountered over the years in many positions that bring their negative attitudes or problems to work with them & toxify the work environment. I just tell people, if the manager hasn't after some time that we're here to do a job, not listen to them complain or have them slack. At the very least, they then avoid dumping around me.
  7. It's my view that it is an employee's responsibility to have an attitude conducive to the success of their assigned task(s). It's not the employer's job to help them feel better about the job and have a better attitude. That goes from washing dishes, to stacking bourbon barrels, to landscaping, roofing, nursing, delivering pizzas... anything. If a person is immature, impatient, lazy, unmotivated, introverted, unfocused... whatever the issue may be, the onus is upon them to improve. Especially if they're unwilling to take help and advice, then they should be fired.
  8. Welcome bro!
  9. So like, exponential... volumetric.
  10. So like, exponential... volumetric. Too sleepy, brb.
  11. Heynow.
  12. Howdy.
  13. Most relevant thing to which I'm aware it's related: Compound interest calculations. Yay for polynomials.
  14. Welp, gonna need to see you complete the square. Please show all your work.
  15. Only if it lags to fuck-all between sections of map like Crysis did.
  16. Boba Fett?
  17. Blow up our Sun... which just happens to be the largest nuclear fusion reaction in the solar system.... sooo..... blow up a nuclear bomb right next to a sun-sized nuclear bomb? Lol. It's producing the equivalent of ~2,000,000,000 nuclear bombs a second... so there's that.
  18. https://www.livescience.com/52843-acorn-worm-genome-sequencing.html Occam's razor vis-a-vis human origin. This 70% genetic similarity dates back 500,000,000 years.
  19. It would take 100,000 years to cross the Milky Way galaxy... at the speed of light. So any cosmic visitors would have had to master some kind of spacetime continuum-altering capability to warp around the cosmos. Space can be & is warped by gravity. With that technological advancement putting billions of planets & stars @ their convenient disposal for mining, IF they decided to visit, or have, it would not be because they need anything from us. Most likely there are other life forms out there, but if they haven't mastered some sort of warp drive as previously mentioned, they won't ever be able to visit here.
  20. Things like forming spheres... maybe so, too, is the universe.
