It's a time sink, a rabbit hole, if you let it be. When I was seriously into it, the mapping & modding had me immersed for many a late hour for months on end.

...some Arctic Jade. Such a handsome specimen. (you can see the diamond saw track at bottom of the piece.) I keep pieces around the house, they make me happy and have their utilitarian values, too. Use a brick of California Jade for a burger press. No harm, no foul.

...real hard. Was ready to build a new rig just about time covid & shit drove-up the price of all things computer hardware. Still holding out until after AMD's new architecture drops this September-ish.... but it's fukkin' killin' me, I tell ya. Neither did I, until a little over a year ago. Only built credit for a lower land loan & construction rate.... ...then it'll be once again as it was before: cash purchases for anything.

I slowed my r0ll; eat more protein & fewer carbs & sugar. Working in a factory, moving around instead of sitting on my ass driving around all day doesn't hurt, either. Lift weights a couple-few times a week...& drink a couple glasses of H20 before meals to attenuate my hunger...etc.

China is bringing online a hypersonic wind tunnel every 6 months. They've circumnavigate the globe with a hypersonic missile already. It's a 6-month to 1 year waiting list to access the very few testing tunnels we have. It's gonna take 5 - 10 years to get to where they're already at.

Yes; memories of enriching times. Don't need money for that. Unfortunately, many- once they've achieved a modicum of financial facilitation- replace experiences with 'stuff'.
