  1. Just spotted on the box it came with 5 free licenses for novastor backup software.... should have spotted that before I bought True Image. Oh well, True Image has more options and supports porting everything over to a new computer.
  2. Yeah, a friend of mine has a Synology NAS drive and it's pretty sweet, but I just couldn't justify the price difference to myself, nevermind the wife. Awesome app for backing up photos and videos from your android device... Sweet Home!, it automatically backs up new content to the nas drive as soon as you connect to your home network. As for PC, I bit the bullet and purchased acronis True Image (at a reduced price after buying my WD Black HDD for my PC) so the PC backups are all sorted to. Decided to use the standard RAID system so I would have to have both drives fail to lose anything. Means I have 6TB of disk space with only 3TB usuable....but it's worth it for the extra insurance I guess.
  3. It's up and running. Going to have to port forward to get web access to work I think though. I have been really struggling to find an all in one total android backup software, but it looks like I'm going to need to use at least two apps to back everything up. Titanium backup for app data and settings and filesync for everything else.
  4. Well we can use our partners phones too...and mum's and neighbours...
  5. Half the apps you download these days track as much, some more. Take a look at the Facebook apps permissions if you want to have a nervous giggle.
  6. If everyone who usually votes here did it on mobile and wifi, we would beat them.
  7. 15 and 16!
  8. Cyborg RAT 3 serves me just fine and has lasted about 5 years with no problems.
  9. I'm going to wait until I get set up with my nas drive before I upgrade. Better safe than sorry.
  10. There is a dentist registered in Bradford who probably still practices, his name is Dr. Fear!
  11. I am now in the same camp as the other noobtoob haters! I get killed by one hitting (what seems like) 30 feet away... and yet, when some knob, noah mentioning any names..... I mean, not mentioning any names , they can tube you stood right in front of them, the blast kills you but not them. Seems like the firer is impervious to his own tubes. I get that the blast radius will be different with the explosive damage perk, but really I have seen people tube me close enough to have slapped me and the tube not kil them.
  12. I remember this being the main talking point when the first xbox came out. PC gamers would be able to play against console gamers....until they tried it and pc gamers totally annihilated the console gamers and they scrapped the idea. Or did I dream it...
  13. @@Bexx Socrates was what we used to use years ago at my work. It was pretty pants then and everytime I used it I thought of the poor Greek genius turning in his grave.
  14. http://www.dabs.com/products/buffalo-linkstation-220-series-4tb--2-x-2tb--2-bay-nas-9FGZ.html?refs=57470000-52900000&src=3 Verdict on this one? http://www.dabs.com/products/buffalo-linkstation-220-series-6tb--2-x-3tb--2-bay-nas-9FH1.html?refs=57470000-52900000&src=3 Or this one, (2 TB more for little cost seems a no brainer)
  15. Cheers man. Still undecided as I really could do with two drives so all bases are covered... I'll keep looking.
  16. Nice. I'm not sure the wife would be convinced at the expense of those plus the hard drives when the WD one is 2TB (which should be enough to back up my PC, 2 phones, 3 tablets and a laptop). It would hook straight into my router so would be available on the network to all and with a login from afar.
  17. I'm looking for good value and reliability. Seen a WD 2TB cloud device that looks like it will do what we want. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00FOKN7FG/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?qid=1438290784&sr=8-8&pi=SL75&keywords=nas+storage Needs to be a media hub and back up device. All help is greatly appreciated.
  18. Well is it 1000 or 3000?...and why?
  19. Yeah, Tomshardware is pretty useful. I like XDA forums too, for phone stuff.
  20. My only dislike with the crossbow, is the travel time. That's a point actually, is the travel time the same for all primary weapons over the same distance, or does it differ between them?
  21. Not sure what this was, both had similar pings, didn't seem laggy. I can't believe it's because I should have used iron sights at that range.
  22. These were taken on my phone. (Galaxy Note 3) Queen Red Tail Little mouse popped out from under the flower pot 2 feet next to me. Stared at me for a while as if to say "What?"... Little bugger may has well have shrugged its shoulders at me.
  23. Some clever splicing on there I think.
  24. Happy birthday dude! FANNYBAWS!
  25. Did that fix it Janey?
