Some say you need to go through all the updates, one by one. I've always just found dropping the 1.7 exe in the CoD4 file and have not had issues (Not sure about other versions.. CoD4 only). As Crunch is saying, you may have to have admin rights. All the files are in XI download section though. Once you get it up and running normal. Copy the CoD4 file and save to disk or email. You can avoid these issues. At the very least, save the 1.7 exe and profiles. Mods will always reinstall upon joining any server. Edit, Install PunkBuster files too if needed. Even though it's not supported anymore, some servers still require it.

That's pretty awesome! Lol Would ha e liked to see that in game! I liked all the new toys in the new mod. Heist included even though I didn't use it. I really liked the ragdoll effect on the characters. Was hilarious watching people go flying after blowing them up.

It's back to normal.

Yeah, I mean I doesn't bother me, I just zoom in. Was mainly just pointing it out. When I turn my phone. It fits normal. But you can see how the gametracker goes outside of its table.

I noticed recently there is a large gap on the right side. It only does it when my phone is horizontal like the pictures posted. Might be the gametracker sig showing the new TDM server? Idk tho.

Same here. For cod4 I just /record, for other stuff like Cod MW 2019 and Cold War, I use GeForce experience. I do not edit and post my videos though. I record and save them thinking someday I might.

In the current cod4 MW2 mod is regulated at 250fps. You cannot play unless it's set to that or lower.

Kind of feels like the server is headed for 1stMsob tactical play style. I liked the unrestricted play format, but it's definitely not for everyone.. but in that regard, neither is crawing around the map. And I mean that in the sense of running speed, jumping height, ect. I don't agree with config tweeks past packet and fps.. just the basics you know? I'll adapt to any changes, I just like playing with XI. It's a vary fun community to play with! You cannot make everyone happy all the time, you just have to find that happy medium. Being that said, a BIG thank you to the admin team and MODers for all your hard work! We may cry, however.. we would not be here if it were not for you!

I could be totally wrong. But I think the cars or equipment earned, have different health than the ones out of care packs? Or maybe that was the old mod? I don't remember. I remember reading that somewhere though. May also depend on the weapons used to shoot the cars?

If I remember right, there is a stand alone program that admins can use to watch players with out joining the game. I have no idea if they use it here or not. I feel maybe they should from time to time. That would remove the question of ... well they stopped using it because you dropped to spec. Honestly, I think most of the people that get accused of hacking, actually don't. And a lot of people who like to accuse everyone. But not take the time to drop to spec and make a video or perhaps don't know how. I've seen a lot of Hack-utaions over the years playing FPS games. Some people will say someone is hacking every single time they died.. like themselves are impossible to kill or something so if someone does, they're obviously hacking!... My youngest son is well known for that. Lmao! That's just my opinion though.

Yeah, there's a split second after you spawn that you cannot shoot. It's always been that way. I don't know if it's intentional or not. But ive noticed it for quite a while. Even in the previous mod. I would notice that trying to spawn in front of someone thinking you have the jump on them, then they just shoot you. Even though your already hitting fire.

I played a few maps today. Not really a big deal. Just have to watch where you use your kill streaks now. Mainly on the real open maps. Like I turned into a defrost car in a open area, respawned.. then had to rush to cover. So really, just chose wisely where you use your kills streaks. The only time I can see this as being undesirable, if your down to a few players and you just respawned and turned into a car right away.. if the enemy team is in your spawn, they will probably get you. So you'll have to hope you defrosted a few. All in all.. I don't feel it changed much.. assuming your not using the extra spawn time for a tactical advantage.
