    This has happened to me a couple of times. If my car (defroster, not sure if it occurs with both) gets disabled by the enemy, while in mid-air, the car gets stuck in a sort of limbo. I have to wait for the car to slowly float down to the ground. Depending on the height, it can take a while and in the meantime, I can't do anything. When it eventually touches the ground, that's when I get the on-screen message that my car has been disabled and I can finally spawn back as my player
