    Oh, I don't disagree. Those things are pretty awesome. I'm just saying LIDAR detectors do exist. I can't attest to how effective they actually are though.

    illegal here in virginia. btw, interesting bit of info... did you know there are radar detector detector detectors? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radar_detector_detector @@little_old_man : Actually, there are ways of detecting LIDAR. They are just less effective. They work either off detecting an increase in ambient light on the wavelength the LIDAR is using, or they detect the TINY high frequency em field being inadvertently emitted from the device's clock. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lidar_detector

    nice. A lot of people do put V8's in them... they acutally end up lighter because of aluminum block over the cast iron stuff that old miatas have. You also need to replace all the drive train.

    I snapped this pic in my budy's driveway the other day. (the left 2 are his, clean one is mine) Not to worry. I'm not a fool. I don't drive fast on the road. Red cars attract cops. (my first ticket was changing lanes without using a blinker) I would love to upgrade it and join an amateur racing club. Probably autocross, or maybe rally cross some people rally with miatas...

    1992 Mazda MX-5. It may be a bit girly but it's the best roadster ever made and is a hell of a lot of fun to drive! (for the price)

    cCleaner is also a nice tool for cleaning out your registry of old / invalid entries and also deleting lots of temp / cache data.
