Well... I don't care much for sports in general but I still think American football is safer. Mostly all you get in American football is torn tendons and damaged joints. In rugby you get concussions... split ears... loss of blood.... broken bones... broken noses... lacerations etc.

Dude, I'm really sorry. My Grandmother died of cancer... life blows sometimes. The worst thing about getting cancer is if you let your spirit get down. Keep your chin up and keep a positive outlook and you'll get through it. We're here for you man! On a lighter note... will you make time for a bucket list? That's what I would be thinking. All those things I want to do but never did. At least it will help you keep your spirits up.

Not to mention 600,000 people die every year from health problems DIRECTLY caused by smoking cigarettes. But, it's legal because there are large corporations making bank off of it and they will lobby to keep it legal.
