Body armor protects against headshots. Always has.

30 health. Dont assume rounds always do 30+ damage since there are many factors at play. They dont. Besides HC is boring. If it were up to me I would make it so to kill you would need to land multiple shots on the torso or one to the head. But its not. Nothing is stupider than dying because you got shot in the foot. Its worse than being sprayed behind a wall.

Of course one little accident and its slice and dice for Christmas.

Local jurisdictions (but not states nor the feds... yet) can already tell cable/satellite service providers block channels they deem obscene. But actually installing hardware on our own computers, televisions, tablets and smartphones? To keep up with the ever changing media providers and the internet they would require firmware access to update it. Who is going to stand up and defend this guy? Or are supporters still on their crack high over their victories and havent yet spent the time to think anything through? Now that the election is over the question the people that voted for him, and others like him, must answer is whether or not they are willing to accept this kind of government intrusion and how far it would go. "Hoping for the best" actually is a valid answer. It simply means the answer is 'none' but for some reason believe the victors actually wont try and follow through with their campaign promises. Which would be strange tho because people dont vote for candidates that wont follow through. They vote for candidates that will.

Yup been one of those off and on things for awhile now. Not sure if this is going to be good or bad. But the same thing was said about other sequels from old movies that turned out to be pretty good so who knows. Among the cast I am curious who the replicants are. Gonna be tough to outdo Rutger Hauer. Probably kept secret as a twist. High expectations certainly. Gotta hand it to Ford however. 75 and still making big budget movies.

It is as compatible as its going to get. Last time I added I think five or six rotations of almost all new maps as I was going through the red list of non-compatible maps. 25-30 each. But too many people keep shutting them down for different reasons. Too big. Too small. Too dark. Too many trees. Too open. Too camper friendly. Too sniper friendly. Or they just plain suck for some unknown reason. There are people that dont want new maps. They are quite comfortable with the current maps they know so well. No need to learn new ones. Or relearn old ones. If you have specific requests of certain maps to try out send either dadda or myself a message and we will see if they now work.

Hopefully not a huge amount. I could possibly use ow2 as a framework since it all already works and just start removing stuff.

Just something I have been toying around with for fun is a different freezetag concept since I have been thinking of doing some character mesh work as learning experiences, so to speak. Cant add much of anything to ow2. The idea is to take out all the killstreaks even the stock ones. There would be an automatic uav for all players every so often. So when you see them they can see you. No stealth perk so everybody is visible when its active. Nades and rockets (maybe) but no mines or c4. Location modifiers so you cannot freeze people with one shot to the foot. It would still have the minigun for example, available in a standard loadout with a pistol, but with a big movement penalty since its so heavy. Pretty much a straight combat game. This would allow me to remove a large number of custom models and materials and free up assets for weapons and characters. Much will depend on how many people would play freezetag with no streaks at all. Or these days are there too many players that just wont without them. If there is no RC will they even bother. G13 still has the airstrikes and helis I believe. Sounds kinda retro like in the ut2k4 freezetag mod.
