Local jurisdictions (but not states nor the feds... yet) can already tell cable/satellite service providers block channels they deem obscene. But actually installing hardware on our own computers, televisions, tablets and smartphones? To keep up with the ever changing media providers and the internet they would require firmware access to update it.
Who is going to stand up and defend this guy? Or are supporters still on their crack high over their victories and havent yet spent the time to think anything through? Now that the election is over the question the people that voted for him, and others like him, must answer is whether or not they are willing to accept this kind of government intrusion and how far it would go.
"Hoping for the best" actually is a valid answer. It simply means the answer is 'none' but for some reason believe the victors actually wont try and follow through with their campaign promises. Which would be strange tho because people dont vote for candidates that wont follow through. They vote for candidates that will.
