Yes there are only three. Named, i, w, s (for images, weapons, sounds). Been that way for awhile. But if you do something like copy/paste from a different mod version what will cause a problem.

That only works if the source is moving and the effect is played over time. Which could make for an interesting sci-fi weapon. But not for a blast. However it should work linearly such that the most extreme distance is 1 point of damage (or some low minimum) and the center is very high.

Anyways. the question was regarding predator. Seems to be working like a bubble. If you are in the bubble, barring obstructions or terrain etc, you are dead. If you are outside of it you have no damage. I got some settings wrong.

Plz wait on that while I figure some things out. I reverted some things back to where they were this past weekend and that should take care of it for those two maps.

Hi all. Some maps have been experiencing map kicks with 'weapon mismatch' errors. Most common at the moment regarding the m16. This is a known problem with complex mods that have custom weapons. There is a fix for those kinds or errors that usually take care of it. But there have been more of them than I expected lately. So I made a small code change that does certain things in a more direct way, so to speak. Hopefully this will mitigate the problem to keep it as low as possible. However I wont know until more maps are played and seeing what happens. If it does, then great and I will leave it this way. However if it doesnt help then I will revert it and continue on with the method adding fixes. I wish to try it this way because there are so many maps out there I have no idea how many would be affected the way it has been going. And I prefer to have it working so that people other than myself dont have to deal with it. So... if this happens please post the name of the map here. I appreciate your patience in this.

Ok a question for you all, and I need an honest answer plz. This is about what is fair not what you want. An explosive weapon has a radius of 300 units from the center. Maximum damage at the center is 300 points. Minimum damage at 300 units distance, dropping linearly from max damage, is 100 points. Meaning, if you are at any distance up to 300 you are dead (100 points). Even if you have a Flak Jacket (35 points). At 301 you have zero damage. The difference between 300 and 301 is one footstep. Is that fair?

No it is not legal, as far as Federal narcotics laws go. It remains to be seen if state laws about it override federal ones. Not fully court tested yet. Currently, under the Obama admin, the law just isnt being enforced in the states that did pass legalization laws. With all the complaints about liberal California from the right wingers there are some definite advantages to living here. edit: BTW, for Trump lovers, he previously loved the idea of legalizing pot entirely as a good thing. But now he has almost done a 180. Makes one think, in the future, what other positions he will reverse course on. I am waiting to see if he is still totally against Bush and Iraq. Or will he pull a Jeb and change his tune. Nobody has asked him yet or he has avoided answering. This debate coming up will be interesting.
