Try out Martian Pyramid. Has the Egyptian pyramid motif and multi levels. UT certainly requires different thinking since most weapons are projectile based and not instant hits.

After more experimentation the custom sniper rifle (which seemed to replace the assault rifle as the default) is too good on the maps I tried. Against them the shield pickups are nearly useless so I wouldnt even bother. Havent had the opportunity to try other weapons yet. Not trying to be a negative nellie or say something is right or wrong. Nor say what anyone should do since such things are solely up to those that put it all together. Just feedback and opinion from one player. As always it also does depend on what you are going for. Then again, everyone knows I am not a fan of easy kills.

Played the poolside mousemap. All weapons are sniper rifles. Strange thing is, a kill is a headshot no matter where it actually hit. Every time. And no, I dont have any cheats.

When I get a chance I will join up and see how it plays. Perhaps a description of the various mutators I see that are being used and what they do?

At my store, my boss got pepper sprayed by a shoplifter who was on the way out the door and wasnt going to be stopped. A damn shoplifter. In a place with video cameras. But of course everyone is masked up, sometimes with head coverings, because of Covid. It is shit like this that turns people to vote for the usual 'law and order' shtick that politicians, often pathetic politicians, use to get elected. Promoting law and order is a good thing when looking at candidates. Shit like this needs to be handled. However when the rest of a candidate is downright atrocious and far worse Im not going to vote for him.

Yes two accounts, one checking one savings, with a card for checking only is a good idea. Then keep the bulk of the money in the savings account. I understand the caution about online banking. Two step verification is a must and I do that with everything important when its available. The one thing I wont do is online banking via a smartphone. Not even sure I ever want to use applepay. Though they do have my CC for my appletv account. Nothing will ever be %100 effective but I would hope that if something did get lost or stolen that a criminal would give up after failing a couple attempts trying to bypass extra security and move on to the next one.

I tend to be pretty careful with my CC and dont let it out of my sight. But of course the one time I did, for a thai food pickup, and next thing you know there are bogus charges and cash withdrawls in southern california. In a thai community. Coincidence? But the company caught on to it pretty quick and stopped the card. Needless to say, I never went to that place again. My debit card is only used at a handful of reliable places. When in doubt, cash is king.

Never did LAN parties. Related to a different thread on playing in the old days, UT2K4 was my first mutli-player FPS game. Mostly sniper servers on an old MBP. Much more my speed than the typical TDM games. Though CTF was always fun. But multi-player FPS in the 80's? I didnt even know there was such a thing.
