Dated of course and some don't like the sci-fi, barring the realism mods, but still fun. And of course when there aren't many players there are reasonable bots to play against. Fraghouse was the best mod out there imo. A lot better than any zombie mod. Tons of well designed maps to play. Especially the sniper maps. I hate those no-cross mirror maps. UT2K4 doesn't have the eye candy but gameplay is everything and it's still one of the best.

Not I. Its blasphemy to some but I lost interest in the NFL years ago. Instead, while the whole pre-gametime-post is going on I will likely get some goodies and start watching The Mandalorian or the current season of The Boys.

Have at it and steal all those care packages and streaks. And then enjoy using them against the enemy team. Any time a game has something that pushes people out of their old comfort zones is a great thing.

Avast is a good choice. It is helpful when online because there are websites, that seem innocuous at first when doing searches looking for info, that if its known to contain malware it will prevent it from opening. And no I dont mean porn or other shady sites. Certain providers will do it also. After the attacks on various levels that go after official distribution points... which has happened several times in the past... who is to say that even reputable sites havent been hacked or are using hacked software. Sucks that things are this way but high tech criminals are pretty sophisticated.

There are a lot of self-entitled people with big mouths that spout off because things dont go their way or others cramp their style. Boo-hoo. Welcome to todays society, not just here in the forums or in-game. Best thing to do, dont even bother with an FU. They are less than nothing, not even background noise, and not worthy enough to acknowledge their existence. Now if they start badmouthing directly to others about you, then that becomes a problem for senior admins to deal with and quickly. This isnt a democracy nor is there free speech. As others have said about no personal attacks etc, all members have agreed to refrain from doing it the moment they joined, and if they break that agreement away they go and that is that.

Wow. The prices have gone way up on that model. But I've had mine for maybe 10 years and except for some minor wear and tear on the leather arm pads, which are replaceable, its like new. So its surely a long term investment. However, if this matters to you in terms of personal opinion, they did invent the office cubicle and the rest is history.

I think at the time I got mine it was $650 or so. I agree spend the money to get a good chair. Your back will thank you.

I suppose its time to give amd a shot. Had one of their cards in the past and it worked well. I dont particularly need top of the line so long as its all stable and doesnt sound like a turbine. The only new game that I *might* get, if they squash all the bugs, is cyberpunk 2077. Otherwise the newest game I have is mw-2019 which is unplayable atm. And it has to be fully compatible with all the various development programs I use. I've had nothing but problems with my old nvidia card with substance. Then again just had to write out a 2k+ check to my hoa to cover my part of the expenses for a major complex-wide repair job. So I suppose thats my major expense for the month.

Maybe they will talk about how the little people can actually get the chance to buy one of the models they already released? Without paying 2X the price from scalpers?

17.9 is an old cod4x version that is no longer compatible with current cod4x servers. They require client 19.1 However, the box should not pop up unless you are trying to join a cod4x server and afaik XI doesnt have one.
