I agree with the dad! That was just wrong and if it were my daughter after a stunt like that she would envy Cinderella! I was lucky growing up and never had to do house work unless I got in trouble or just wanted to help. I found new ways not to get caught, but I did what my brother didn't do (Mow and trash), but only because I hated seeing my dad labor in the sun after working in a hot factory. And Simplemod I have taught you well! Yes there is a difference between a whooping and a beating and I am one of the people going into the Psychology field. The only reason it makes the child worse is if you do it for every little thing they do.

I did not grow up during the 70's but I remember walking into the woods after breakfast and coming back at dinner. Our parents did not send out search parties and we were not kidnapped. We use to play with my bothers GI Joe's and my Barbie's in a creek that was back there. I made GI Joe drown Barbie and hang her from the tree. My mom thought there was something wrong with me. (Still does) Mercy she has a point alright! Your a damned IDIOT!!! LMAO!!! LOL Not yet, but working on it I guess.

CHKN My mom and dad both use something kind of like that and both have stopped smoking. My dad was a hardcore smoker and mom was kind of if she would actually take a drag from the stupid thing, but he has not smoked for almost 4 months and her 2. I tried it, but I think I honestly didn't want to quit smoking, but oh well good luck.

I would have to say being with my family. They always ask me what I want, but I always give them the same answer and that is to spend time with them. We played on the XBOX and got my mom to sing in guitar hero, as well as Simplemod, me and my sister-in-law. My brother just plays guitar and my dad laughed and recorded us, but oh well we had a blast and always do.
