Okay, well, I'm not sure what to say then. It seems that some are plagued by this type of thing, and it doesn't seem to be video card related. JohnnyDos has that black screen thing, too, SOB also, I think. Johnny's on a Radeon card, that much I know for sure. If you had said you had a Radeon card, I'd be thinking there's more of a pattern developing here. But no. As for the GeForce drivers, it seems NVIDIA is having some pains with Win10. 355.60 (the one before the current, released mid Aug) was a mess and crashed on me a lot. Accordingly, I went back to 353.62. But I've had some random BSOD crashes that I just pinned down to Remote Desktop this morning. As it's obviously doing some video emulation, I'm assuming it is the 355.60 driver. This morning I installed the 355.82 driver which was released late Aug. Too early to tell if there's any better or worse performance with that one. Anyways - Suggestion for Insurgency: 1) Check your ...\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\insurgency2\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2013 folder. Run the vcredist_x64.exe in there so it can update your VisualC Redistribution module. When I had problems in BF4, that trick right there got me running smooth. Maybe it will help for Insurgency, too. 2) Check your ...\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\insurgency2\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010 folder. Run the DXSETUP.exe in there and let it install (or repair) your DX10 installation.

He's installing from Steam. @@loaderXI - I'm thinking you should be good to go. If you're not up to date with the patches, then multiplayer won't show you any game servers to play on. If you can see and get into our servers, you're good to go with that. Now, if PB kicks you after a couple of minutes of play, then you will need the update which you can find here (I think): http://www.xtremeidiots.com/files/file/22-call-of-duty-world-at-war-windows/ or maybe this one: http://www.xtremeidiots.com/files/file/2264-codwaw-punkbusterfixzip/ Let us know if you need install help with PB. I've fixed other peoples' PB just by TeamViewing them and copying over my PB folder to theirs. Ususally there's an old file that's keeping it from working right. But sometimes the installers put the right file in the wrong place.

Which video card do you guys have and your driver version?

I have updated the servers.

UPDATE2: They must have pushed another update after we updated the servers yesterday. I just ran the Server Update process again on the Co-op and PVP and they are both back on my favorites list. Let me (or any of the real Insurgency Admins) know if they are still missing on yours.
-
UPDATE: They are gone for me today, too.
-
That's strange. I wasn't showing any maps yesterday either, and I was chatting with Ricko and Fireurza at the time. Ricko updated and restarted the servers right then and there, and they came back into my server list. I'm not sure why there would be a problem for you today, especially since you noted that this happened after you did the update.

It's Technicolor Thursday on COD5 Server DM1 Full color maps today, not the dreary, muted colors so common in COD5. Many (too many) of the COD5 maps are dingy and have very muted color. I suppose the game authors thought it adds to the nostolgic atmosphere WWII invokes. But it wasn't all sepia tone back in the day, I can tell you that! So let's all go back to the day and see it as the soldiers did - in full color. It's Technicolor Thursday on COD5 Server DM1. The most colorful maps we have. Enjoy!

There's not a problem that I can't fix. 'Cause I can do it in the mix! Away goes trouble down the drain. Away goes trouble down the drain.

What a sad, sad day! REO Speedwagon lead guitarist Gary Richrath has passed at the young age of 65. Thank you, Gary for all your talent and the great guitar riffs that made REO Speedwagon an unmistakable force in music! Post your favorite REO song videos in this thread to commemorate the life and music of this amazing guitarist. Here's one of my favorites, and one of the quintessential REO tunes, for sure. I saw REO live in Milwaukee before KC joined the band, and once in Bismark, ND after he joined. Both concerts were worth their weight in gold.

I really didn't know there is a video for this song until just now. But Tasmin Archer - Sleeping Satellite is actually in my Top 10 of most favorite songs of all time.

You really don't want to see the spider that built this. Or do you? If not, don't look at the inset. It's a bit blurry because I really didn't want to get that close and it was dark out. He (she?) hides away in the heat of the day, but as this is very near my front door and its porch light, there's no shortage of moths, etc., for it to eat at night. But the web itself is rather magnificent, right? And last night, I actually did try to get a better picture of him. I had to go out the garage and up my porch steps to get into position. At that point he decided he really didn't want his picture taken, so he literally lept off the web, bungee jumping to the ground. Freaked me out. I left. -
Here's a HOT new release from Goodnight Tonight

I'm so sorry to hear of this, @@Belted. Your sorrow is quite unmistakable, I'm sure. She, however, is free from the pain and has been made whole again. I hope there is some comfort for you in that. Be sure to take the time to take care of yourself in this difficult time for you and your son. You need to decompress and recharge now more than ever. It will get easier.

Excellent! @@JohnnyDos - Excellent views of Madison. Launch point is Vilas Park on Lake Wingra. This is also where our zoo is located. You can see one of the exhibit halls clearly because of its rainbow sun-burst sculpture over the building. In the first third of the video, there are some excellent shots of St Mary's Hospital where my daughter was born. It's the tan and red-brick complex of buildings, where the largest tan building has a row of 4 massive, square windows. At one point there is a great shot of the Isthmus, and right in the center is the Wisconsin State Capital building. You can see the Capital in many of the angles as long as you know to look for it. At one point, I thought it might be a great investment to get one of these drones and use it for commercial, real estate, and special occasion photography. Sadly, as I researched it, I found that there is a growing swell of opposition to drones, right along with increasing levels of regulation. The guy operating this drone may very well have been in violation of those laws. The FAA is getting involved, and the casual and business use of drones may soon be legislated into oblivion.

Do the beers first, then do the fish. Given enough beers, even a carp will look doable.

Ah. Yes. From what I understand, desktop themes for Windows 10 is still only half-baked. You can use the Win8x themes, but I guess auto rotation of desktop background images is one of the features that's still in the works. Stay tuned, I guess.

@ - See this article on the Num Lock thing. http://winaero.com/blog/enable-numlock-logon-screen-windows-10/ Not sure what you mean by the "desktop display time." If you mean the time before it switches to screensaver, that's under Settings -> Personalization -> Lock Screen -> Screen Saver Settings If you mean the time till Windows turns the monitor off, that's under Settings -> Personalization -> Lock Screen -> Screen Timeout Settings As for the Win 10 Start Button, might I suggest that no replacement is needed. The Win 10 Start "button" is actually one of the coolest and most customizable features of Win 10. It could use some improvements, but my guess is that it will be tweaked over time. But even with its present feature set, it completely blows all earlier Start buttons (or lack thereof) completely out of the water! I have used it to streamline my Taskbar because I like using the Start button better than having lots of inactive icons on the Taskbar. Check out this video on customizing the Start Menu for some cool suggestions:
