@loaderXI You should be fine creating a new profile in MP I just tried it out. The active.txt file is going to be the last profile you use. It changes everytime you change your profile choice. All the files inside your profile should be made from the game. I would try deleting all the profiles and start from sctrach. I at this time always like to remind people that a good fix is deleteing teh whole game and reinstalling. Say total time 1 hour to do. If your spending more than an hour to fix a problem well I hope it because ya love fixing the problem. ( going th elong route is how I figured out a lot about the files in WAW can be fun )

mp_data I think keeps your favorites and such. So if there is one there remove it to your deasktop the game should build a new one. I'm not sure what you mean by loop ? Have you tried to create a dummy name say like " gruffgyt " to make sure the master server does not already have everything he has tried ?

I don't believe they are allowed to force anybody to work on a stat. Unless it's written in your contract

I agree. I do not mind other bands doing remakes of other people music so long as it's not a copy. But when the original band gets it right...... why redo it because you have fancy new euipment

World at War in steam I think is just an add on game. So your profile would of been keeped in the WAW directory under your computer name (c drive) user profile. So I'd say your profile is gone. Sorry but lot of us has lost them over time .

I have it in a usb drive. It see it but with no drive letter assigned . With out a drive letter I cannot go forward on that route. Even spinrite (OMG how long would that take on a 2 tb drive ) needs a drive letter.

Most was backed up say except last few months. My problem is I have 5 hard drives and there is no order to whats on either ither except movies music ect ect. So this one was an over run HD it had tv movie and photo's. I just have to figure out what was on it. Be so much faster to see the files than to try and replace them. The hard Drive itself can be seen by windows disk management but it does not have a letter assigned. So with out that command lines do not work. Still have not given up on this. Photos are easy I have 2 more back ups. The rest imagine when the kids sit down tommorrow to watch there fav show and its not there. I know I lost all my Mash shows and its was a lot of work using handbrake to get them off the dvd.

So I have a hard drive die yesterday an older QWd cavair green WD20EARS . Was used in my server. It has about 1.5 terribits of tv shows and movies a back up of my music and photo's. Would like to get it all back. Be so much easyer then finding out what was all on it. It will not redo the MBR Its in a usb case right now thats not doing shit. File explore does not see it but In Computer managment disk manager see's it but not a thiong I can do to it from there. I've hit it with a few oteh rprograms but they do not seem to see the drive. Any Ideas ??

Ice we need to ALWAYS talk politics and yep its a head banger. If we stop the other side wins and we are now living in something we do not want. I find most if not all locked or deleted post's are because they turn into personal verbal attacks on each other. Duc ,Rugger all the senior admins make hard decisions when they decide to lock a thread down. There unpleasant to do just as they are unpleasant to read. When a post goes wild and the answers and comments get crazy I am happy there are a few who are willing to monitor it. It what keeps us grounded as a group of people who can say what we think and feel. Now again the world is not flat its bowl shaped.

@Icequeen this thread is rather tame. I've seen some go right crazy I mean eastern Texas crazy . But I will stop posting take a break. I think the fact of the matter here is were close to those who want the Vax have it and those who do no want it will fight to the end to not get it. Nature Will deal with it now. Or segregation will take over.
