Well shit.... there goes the neighbourhood!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!

Yesterday morning my Pops lost his fight with Cancer. He went peaceful and on his own terms. The day before he decided the pain was too much and wanted to be induced into a coma and no feed tubes or IV and let him shut down. We had a VERY cleansing and theraputic afternoon of goodbyes, video calls to those who could not see him (fuck you covid and your restrictions) my brother sister mother and I all had 1 on 1 talks with him, he was ok with his choice and more worried WE would be ok with it. We were, we are shattered, but we will pull ourselves back together, there was no putting Pops back together this time and he knew it. Yesterday afternoon they were supposed to induce the coma, we got a call at around 730am that he took a turn for the worse and to come there, Mama told them to let him know we are on the way. Well Pops being Pops found that off switch he said he has been looking for for a week now, he didnt want us to see him pass and he flipped that switch inside before we got there. He went calmly and peacefully with a nurse holding his hand. He was surrounded by so much love all week the RNs were in tears daily saying they have NEVER seen such a close family and a family so full of love, we were confused, its just the way we are, they said unfortunatly not many in the hospice have that support and thats saddening in itself So with that being said, I implore you to tell those close to you that you love them, dont shy away from 3 simple words, dont hold them for just your spouse or family, love openly and freely, tell your friends you love them, tell anyone and everyone close to you that you love them, take the weirdness out of saying it and it will become a natural thing to say, I have SOOOO many friends guys and gals I have no problem saying I love you to when parting ways even if for a short time, I was lucky, I got to say goodbye and I love you to my Pops before he went, many dont get that chance, so dont pass up a chance to say it because you never know if you will get that chance again! we cut all cable and phone a year or so ago, we bought for 80 bucks a 4k Amazon Fire stick, my Sister loaded it up with Live TV, i pay 15 bucks a month and get 300+ channels from all around the world, she also put Kodi on there and i pay 10 bucks a month for the premium no lag or buffering cahced torrent streams so i can watch any movies or series out there non-live so now for all my TV viewing pleasures I pay 25 bucks a month plus the cost of my internet which I was paying before anyways

A few know already but my Pops is stage 4 cancer for the last 2 years, he has taken a very steep decline this last two weeks. He is currently in hospital and they are saying 2 weeks tops before he passes. I am not a praying man, would never ask for prayers, but good thoughts and good vibes are always wanted and needed. I am a hippy at heart We have come to terms over the last 2 years with everything, even managed to get him out to the mountains for the 1st time. Just got back from taking Mama to go see him, 53 years married they have been! Hes been the rock of this family and its gonna be a couple shitty ass weeks ahead but we will get through it as a family and had to let my 2nd family here know whats going on So good thoughts that when he chooses to let go he goes pain free and surrounded by love and much love to you all! It is a Pro V 1x straight from the box at end of outdoor season, used for 3 rounds at end of season and 5 days of indoor golf then busted, probably a manufacture error in the ball as I can hit the ball pretty hard, but not that hard! LOL

So most of ya know my love of the Canadian rock band Monster Truck. I started as a fan and have become friends with the band. I also have another major love, golf, got to go to indoor golf with the lead singer of the band today, we had a fucking blast,.got good and high before hand and played St Andrews old course, I kicked his ass but he definatly has the bug for it now and says hes gonna be joining me alot this summer! I also broke my 1st ball today! Im not a HUGE hitter, 102mph swing 250-269 drives with a bit of draw. Guess it was just the balls turn to croak lol

Been a while since I got fresh ink... have had this appt for 7 months waiting!!! My artist is a busy guy. Wanted a demon hand coming out of a skin tear in my back and the nails digging into my shoulder.. on other shoulder an angelic hand resting/guiding. On drive here had an idea... I called my Mommy and had her take a picture of her left hand with her rings and wedding set and going with that instead! Here is the demon hand one and he is putting the line work in on Mommys hands as I type this on my phone... body near done at this point with the abuse...with do shading on Mommys hand another day And here is stencil on on other side he is killing me with right fucking now...owww

AND... for the record.. it is a natural spruce tree top that is kinda yellowish... I know this only because a guitar friend said so on facebook LOL

Awesome!!! My Les Paul double cut has P90s in her and loves to growl!!! Had a semi famous blues guitarist from my area named Alfie Smith take her for a ride one day, made me near weep the sound someone who knows what they are doing could bring out of her LOL

This came up in my facebook memories today... 2 years ago... right before Covid19 started and it is now the day before Ontario enters a 3 week shut down of inside dining and sports and concerts... yet again... entering into year 3 of "2 weeks to flatten the curve" but thats a whole dif talk lol This is me... in my element... in my happy place... my zone... front row at a Monster Truck concert. Lead guitarist Jer always gives me ATLEAST 1 solo straight to the face during the concert. My good friend and photographer caught this shared moment... a primal scream from us both as the rock and roll rips through us. This picture was also in a rock magazine with a write up about the show. God fucking damn I miss moments like this!!!!

As a matter of fact it was a toss up between the Taylor and a Gibson Epiphone J45... was playing both for about an hour and a half at the shop... in the end the thinner neck profile on the 110E and the ebony fret board won out

Boxing day was a big day... I got to bring home my new baby!!!! I have been spending the week getting to know her! My 1st high end acoustic! A Taylor 110E dreadnought! Has a pick up so I can plug her in... sounds nice through my Marshall tube amp This puts me at a '72 Gibson SG Deluxe... a '92 Gibson SG Special, a 2011 '61 reissue Gibson SG in tv yellow (1 of only 100 made).... a 2018 Gibson Les Paul double cut in TV yellow.... a custom Walking Dead guitar (1 of only 200 made) a Yamaha acoustic and now a Taylor acoustic... quite a nest egg of guitars building
