    OK, my brother almost has me convinced. All his stuff now runs on Penguin ware and he only runs Windows as a virtual machine. I haven't messed with it since the days of Slackware & Debian. Don't even know what kernel version is out there. Anybody game on Linux? Last stuff I tried was Doom & OpenGLQuake, and it was a pain to configure. Has it gotten any better? Just curious, got a spare 30 gig hd I might reformat & dual-boot if it's worth the trouble.

    When Harry was born dirt wasn't even around yet LOL "There Can Be Only One!" I was wrong, the Max Wedge was offered in 1962@ 413 cubic inches. In '63 it went to 426 cubes and remained the hottest Chrysler drag engine until the 426 hemi in late 65'. That's what I get for trusting a failing memory.

    The USS Thresher was lost. They scrapped the USS South Dakota. President Kennedy was shot in Dallas.........Man, can't crow about much from 1963. I suppose the best thing was the Beatles coming over. Rickenbacker first introduced the electric 12 string 360/12. Boeing 727 was brought into service. Chevrolet brought out the new transverse leaf,four wheel independent suspension-ed Corvette Stingray. Last year for the Mopar max-wedge 426 with cross ram dual quads. Movie The Great Escape came out with Steve McQueen on his Triumph Bonneville..........Guess it wasn't a total loss for a year.

    Discovery channel had it live yesterday. Had it on in the background while honey-doing (myth-busters had a marathon going too). Couldn't believe how quick the ballon got to altitude. Gary Powers bailed out of a U2 at silly altitudes over the Soviet Union because he HAD to. Bailing out of a ballon over New Mexico willingly..........no sir.

    Spent a couple hours eradicating a nasty virus this afternoon. Luckily don't have my wife's computer & mine as file sharers. Personally, I would be careful of the links offered for mp3's. Anything .ru is probably poison. Slid right past AVG & locked my browser with an FBI warning about copyright material & demanding $200 or prison time was imminent.
