computer crashed hard last night while playing MW. As it rebooted I noticed the cpu temp @ 61C . Whooooaaaah! Pulled everything apart and had an hour long session of vacuuming fans & cleaning heatsinks. What a mess. Guess I should pay a little more attention to internal maintenance. Back to operating temps around 42C. Was going to build a new computer this year anyway, but hate to melt the old one down prematurely.

We have the best admins and great members. Our clan is more like a world wide family then any other I have been a part of or seen. Rugger sails a good ship. I have never been a part of a clan that has so many different servers and puts out all the clan stuff you can buy. Plus as a bonus the get togethers. Our clan is a gamers heaven. Yeah, definitely have to tell Microsoft you installed a new CPU. Your operating system won't like another CPU calling the shots. My suggestion is to install on another hard drive & recopy after you get another key. It can be done....just don't pop in a new CPU with one irreplaceable set of files on a drive.

NP, pop in the new CPU and roll with it. Might have to change a couple of settings, but your operating system should be happy. Windows doesn't care what grinds the numbers, it's all on the hard drive anyway.
